As I read it, it looks like there are going to be 3-8 players in a terminator game. At the start of the game the players will be sorted randomly with one player becoming IT. Whoever kills IT then has an immunity?
I tend to agree with NS that unless I'm missing something it seems like one player is generally picked to be a pinata in each game.
If they're eliminated before ROund 5 they are out of the tournament. If after Round 5 they play an elimination game but have a get out of jail free card to come back if they lose that one? (what is the point of the elimination game then?)
I'm thinking of a fairer way to do it here so one person isn't essentially piled on. Maybe keeping the target secret?
My thought on this is that maybe the targetted player should automatically get the immunity. As mentioned above they are going to be piled on as soon as round 5 is reached and it will be difficult for them to make any kill at all.
Using this idea the killer and victim would progress (along with the winner if that is a different person to the killer), with the remaining players going into the elim round.
i agree with bart, that the IT players identity be kept secret to the other players. second chance or not, that player is at a huge disadvantage. no need to announce his identity and give him virtually no chance of survival.

Agreed I will make the chosen person aware of their status, but it will remain secret to all others until the chosen one is defeated in game.
