As Woody Allen said, "I'd never join a club that would let me in as a member." (probably shouldn't put it in quotes since I'm not sure that's it verbatim)
The third post has been updated with all clans who will be participating in this event. I have decided to stick to the rule as it was intended. If you do not have 2 clan wars with winners who have been decided, then you will have to sit this one out. I think I have the list accurate, but please double check it for me and let me know of any mistakes. OSA barely squeaked in to participate by just getting the deciding games in their 2nd war.
As you all can see, we have 29 clans participating this year. That is an awesome number and should make it very exciting for the competition. This also means that every clan will have a play-in matchup except for the clans that are seeded in the top 3. Seeds will be based off the Power Rankings.
I have sent the compiled data and a table showing the results of the Power Rankings over to [player]Incandenza[/player] and [player]Dako[/player] so they can verify my results and check for any errors. I am hoping they have looked it over by tomorrow. As soon as they are done I will post the table on the Power Rankings thread and the seeds will be known.
I wish every clan the best of luck and hope everyone enjoys the event.

Then, instead of calling it play-ins, isn't it being a round of 32, with 3 byes more appropriate?

...or, since we're so close to having a nice even bracket of 32, why not let Wild Geese and 2 others come and join the fun?
I'm assuming there were 2 others who wanted to play somewhere in the thread?

Nice Jaws quote, lubawski
Not a bad idea, as I mentioned a few days ago, I'm surprised AoD and BSS didn't join, since they'd be easy slot-ins in my book.

One of my favourite quotes.. and according to Woody Allen in Annie Hall it is usually attributed to Groucho Marx but is initially a Freud quote, apparently..
Yes, we are going to stick with 29, this should be a fun matchup and hopefully next time around we will have more than 32 clans eligible and ready to play!
my main ? that chuuck did not respond to was the fact that aka were forced to try finish times challenges to the fact they only allow me one set of privs at a time so. since we finished of a challenge for time does this make aka availible for this cup. i sent the pm over a week ago to chuuck without response.

Cause with round 32 if lower seed wins he jumps into higher seeds shoes and might have a better chance of winning one more round
I don't understand this question. Once the bracket is made, the seed next to your name is irrelevant. If you beat the higher seeded team in the firs round then you will go on to play the clans that they would of played had they won. The clans in the next round don't change depending on who wins the match.

I never did get a PM from you asking that Eddie, I went through all of my PMs just now and there was not one with that question, but the answer is no, AKA is no available for this cup because AKA has not started, played, and finished two clan wars yet. I am not sure of the problems between AKA and TIME but to follow the rules, AKA needs two completed clan wars, which they do not have.
