Tennent's Super Strength. I'm practising to become a tramp in London. I've got the accent for it already.

Well said. Lager is, generally, a bucket of fizzy piss that'll have me urinating all night. Usually drink either Guinness or bitter, unless there's a speciality ale or cider for a nice change.

Lager is OCCASIONALLY alright on a nice hot day at a BBQ as long as it is pretty cold, and even then only occasionally...

I'm a jackass. I didn't realize my favorite beer of all time is a lager.

Kokanee brewed by the British Columbia Brewery in, you guessed in Canada!

strongbow cider for me, the thing is though i do not get all this bollocks about putting ice in your glass, that is the new craze at the moment.
if they have ran out of cider, i would have a pint of trophy in my local.

lagers,i don`t mind a can of kronnenberg or carlsberg export now and again in the house.

Yeah, Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout or Nut Brown Ale are both high on my list, but as neither are lagers I'd have to say

1) "Geldner Ganz", I had it in Augsburg, Germany. Can't get it
here though.

2) Pilsner Urquell, satisfying bite.

Sorry, I'm really more of an ale and stout kinda guy.

Not to slow everyone from slaging on Lagers for all the obvious reasons but if you can't find a single one you like, make a new thread for your Ale choices.

I like Granville Island, it's the only lager I've found that I would actually choose to purchase.

There's a couple of mexican not corona, that aren't terrible.

There's a good Polish lager called Zywiec and I quite like Kirin which is Japanese. Stella and Grolsch aren't too bad, but the best Dutch cans are Oranjeboom - 8 cans for £5 and 5%.

Leffe is good too, but technically it's a light ale (if 6.5% can be called light). The Old Speckled Hen is my favourite bitter, or maybe Black Sheep.... dunno, it's a tough choice.

Does magners count as lager? (excuse my ignorance)

If not I do like a spot of Harp (the lively lager).

To be fair, the Carlsberg ad does say "Probably the Best Lager in the World" (or used to say at least). It's now changed to "So Good, the Danes hate to see it leave"

Otherwise i drink Carling Black Label or Amstel

Tend to drink Grolsh when I drink larger, but thats because thats the nicest stuff they server in the bars I drink larger. There are some awsome Czech ones. Also like a few asian largers.

I had Strongbow on tap in London and I must say it's very good. The good thing about it is it's a fairly dry cider. Most all the US ciders are sugary sweet "alcho-pop" type drinks.

i can't drink cider anymore - i think i poisened myself with it while drinking stonehouse, diamond whtite and white lightning as a nipper.
although obviously i don't suggest underage kids should drink, it was a hard day when i failed my 11+ sats.
