We're on the fence. I think the problem, for many clans, is that ccup is just so long. Other clans have skipped cla and ccup2 because they are still playing in ccup1. It cannot eat up the entire year, its a really big commitment. We still have not come to a conclusion, but I'll say that the biggest stumbling block is just how long the cup is.
We're still playing cla. Just a thought, for ccup administrators (empire) to consider. You could cut a few wars shorter. Round 1 20 games, round 2 40 games? Get this thing done in 8 months or so, before cla. Just my thoughts, hopefully someone from tsm will give an definite answer before friday.

I understand the feeling that it is too long, but once I looked at the schedule, it doesn't seem so bad. It is 4 challenges for the 2 teams that make it to the finals. The majority of clans that enter will only play in 2 challenges. It doesn't really seem like that huge of a commitment.
the timetable seems fair and reasonable for 4 challenges (if you run that deep) last years ran so long as there was 2 decent size breaks and then some pretty decent delays in games being sent.. i think if people are more diligent in games being sent (game creation rights will help here) then it will run much smoother and faster

Both "delays" are with clans who had game rights at the time.
If the TO is present this time then I expect it will go a whole lot smoother. His absence in CC1 meant it was left to the clans to set deadlines and a whole lot of requests to establish dates were simply overlooked.

I will be here, and in the times I get busy someone else from Empire will be checking in. It will also run more smoothly because dates are predetermined based off the success that was had in the league with doing that. This way there should be no question on when things should be done, the schedule is already made.
Is it to late - we have a few people away so we couldnt finish our vote. Could let you know by the end of the weekend hopefully sooner. I know thats pushing it....

Loki, try to get it in asap. I expect today or tomorrow the numbers will be crunched (I have nothing to do with it, so it's more conjecture--but I know there were a few clans that needed prodding and it didn't happen yesterday as those who "could" send reminders were all tied up in RL).
