Let's think this through. What I am about to post might have little value, and it's a long shot.
Commander has pointed out there is a big story behind this. Clues to be found, etc...

Now we have a person who wants to die. Even for a noob his actions are just over the top.
What IF he is a special role, that needs to die in order to become something more powerfull? You guys already agreed that this is possible.

But if you think about it, how likely is it that a Third Party might emerge by the death of Justin?

I think it's a long shot, but it (kinda) makes sense in the storyline. Humanity finding a way to save itself, or something.

However if that's the case, it won't matter much. He's probably dead by the next day anyway. I'm gonna dig into the story a little deeper for now.

Unfortunately, this is his 'I will explain everything' answer.
Mind that he only mentioned the jester part AFTER other players brought it up.

I am a Jester. I am not joking. My aim was to get killed in the first round to win the game. Otherwise I have no chances to survive in this Appocalyptic world. This is my real UNFAKE backgorund.

Finally he gives us a story. Sort of. It would be if he hadn't LITERALLY mentioned the underlined part.
I am pretty confident we were all given a name and roll, with background story. He mentioned nothing of this, what pushes me to believing it's a fake claim.

That right there is him admitting that he had to think up his claim and to explain away his actions. Luckily others, perhaps scummates who noticed that he was a noob and couldn't fake claim properly, filled in with the speculation about a jester.

I don't think he is a jester. The only way I can reason what he is doing is if he becomes mafia from a lynch. I mean what new player doesn't want to be scum? I know I do. But maybe he doesn't know enough to realize he would need to play that role a little more on the DL. I don't know, maybe I am going about this wrong. Firstly have you ever played mafia before? Yes you do claim before you are lynched. Unless you have an actual restriction from claiming.

I don't think he even truthfully claimed jester and this should be enough to lynch him.

The question is: can a new player be that good, or is he really that bad?

If Justin really is that good he managed to drop enough small scumtells to get himself noticed and not just written off as a noob early on, then he made a vague claim with two votes (iirc) on him and told us the truth (or a version of it) about him being a jester after the bandwagon started, but in such a way that noone would believe it. If he really is that good he has managed to confuse everyone else to the point where he can count on getting lynched just because more than half of the players want to make him stop.

Noone can be that good. Noone.

This only leaves the second option, he really is that bad and screwed up as badly as a player can.
