While I agree it doesn't seem like it would be a good tactic, I have to admit that it looks like it will work this time. Like Eddie said, the combination of the enormous map and fog make it a more feasible idea, I think.
Regardless of whether or not it works (or should have worked, or whatever), it is against the site rules, and highly unsporting (especially considering the fact that it won't change the result for the week).

Similar to what you'd probably hear from C&A admins, it may be a cheap tactic but its not against any of the rules. Dont think there's really anything that can be done about it, though if it was intentionally done than it is a poor showing from that clan in particular.

Wouldn't it have been smarter to give the strongest player the troops the previous turns instead of waiting? Intentional deadbeating is rarely a good strategy.
How will the finals be played? 9 home and 9 away games all the way through the finals? And what rules will be used when it comes to tie-breakers/deciders?

Playoffs and relegation will be a 8Q-7T-4D with each side choosing 4Q-3T-2D as described below as the regular season format. The additional triples map will be Random-Esc-Chained-Sunny.
Given that a clan will only be making 45 home games and that there are over 150 maps available, plus considering some element of home advantage, no map can be chosen more than twice during the regular season and in addition, no repeats in your 9 home sets. Maps can be chosen for a 3rd time in the playoffs, but then not again.
Sorry, if this has been answered already. So am I right thinking:
If we've played a map once during the regular season we can play it twice in the playoffs If we're played a map twice during the regular season we can play it once in the playoffs - ?

As an inevitable addendum, if we didn't use a certain map during the regular season, can we use use it 3 times during the playoffs?

Yes, there are only 3 rounds in the playoffs so clans that reserved a map all season, can use it 3 times if they make it all the way to the finals. I don't think that has been done yet.
I thought of something that might come into play sometime in the future (playoffs or future seasons)
How do you plan to track which games were random generated maps?
IA has used two random maps this round and it wont effect us since we are not going to use the maps that came up, but it could of easily of been a map we used once in the season and plan to use twice in the playoffs, thus looking like we used the map 4 times during the course of the season.. there should be some kind of mark (maybe an 'R') beside maps that were random maps

I hope it will not start before all regular season games in all Divisions finish.
I would think the playoffs start when all the positions have been secured, and as long as a game in the regular season doesn't affect the placement of the playoff teams.

Can you elaborate more on this? What are you guys going for? Most wins? Best win percentage? In case of best win percentage, is there a minimum number of games it takes to be eligible? In case there is, which number is that? What is/are the tiebreakers and what is their order of importance?
Also feel free to explain details that might have escaped my questions.
