How many threads on the same subject does it take? I mean seriously...when does this just become trolling?
You yourself said this on your wall, "Don't ever think that a handful of committed people can't change the world. In fact, that's usually the thing that has."

Ok, this is a troll....we need solutions, not obtuse analogies.
It's not a troll at all. It absolutely is an analogy...one with a point that you don't seem to want to consider.
Because it does nothing to solve the problem at hand...
It makes a very relevant point. You simply do not like that point.

Inflate my post count? What does that even mean?
L M S wrote:I aim to consider the OP's question when in his thread, if you think George Washington and the Freemasons can fix the dice on CC then I apologize for not wanting to consider your point. If that is the case however, I totally missed your point and you should try again.
My point was that just because a bunch of people have the mis-perception that some thing is true does not make that thing true.

Why are you trying to shut me down man?
I'm not at all trying to shut you down...I'm trying to say that many threads doesn't accomplish what many posters would. Find more folks who agree with you. "Many threads" doesn't equate to "handful of committed people", but "many people" would be much more apt.

MNDuke wrote:I'm pretty sure what you are saying is that it's better to be lucky than good.
So then prior to the "new dice" you were the one who was lucky instead of good? Is that really what you meant to say?
No. You miss the point. I feel that with the old dice system, strategy carried more weight. Far too often now, games are decided in the first round because of the unbalanced streaky nature of the new system. All I'm saying is that it was possible to rely on strategy to get you through bad dice, that is not so much the case anymore.
Perhaps. Perhaps it is that the relevant strategy has changed, and yours has not changed with it?

If all of your games are over in the first 3-4 rounds of the game, then I would definitely suggest that you're doing something wrong.
Look, I bitch about the dice in-game as much as anyone, but that's as they relate to that specific game. Overall, the cards decide more games I'm in than the dice do.

You see, but eventually those threads go inactive. This is the only way to keep the topic current and fresh. When old tactics don't work, its time to try something new. Hopefully those have the ability to change such things will take notice before its too late.

Maybe I should try clicking the assault button differently. Aside from that, I don't see what I could be doing wrong. The dice are out of my hands and when you don't win a roll, you don't get a card. I play a variety of games and it seems to be across the board that the dice suck although no spoils games give me my best chance of winning because I can drop and not have to attack for a card. Even so, when you have 12v12s and lose 10 guys to kill 2, your odds of winning decline sharply. The game becomes all about dice and no longer strategy.

The old strategy being complaining, and complaining. The new strategy would be to come up with cold hard facts.
Like Woodruff, I also swear at the dice. I think one of the reasons it seems that they are so streaky is that we don't see our dice when we are being attacked so we only see about half of the dice that affect our games.
I would be more interested if someone could come up with figures for how many 6's the attacker rolled and how many of those 6's were defeated by the defender.

I do wish I could auto attack without feeling like I was going to get a screw job--here is my example from a game earlier and I think it is my worst roll ever:
26v3 down to 3v2
Lost 23 taking one with offensive dice. That one amazed me.
Sorry, HA, but I've got you beat. I lost 87 to 0 during a single auto-attack against 3 armies. I don't think amazed was the way I felt - more like extreme discombobulation (look that up in your Funk and Wagnalls).

21v2 to 2v2 a couple days ago , wonder why I'm a sergeant right now?

tdans... I never took you for a DICE BITCH, but I guess I was wrong.
I would've never taken you for a Wizard of Oz fan either... so I am 0-2.
well, you can never tell a person for who he is online man.. and if you didnt notice, I just made this thread to piss off everyone who is tired of seeing dice threads, the dice are diceyer than crap, but thats normal...
Just another one because I feel like it and I'm friggin pissed off again at the bullshit system.
Two factors that seem to come into play OFTEN here. I tend to find opponents on amazing hot dice streaks at the same time I am getting insane bad streaks. Tonight alone 1 played 3 games where my opponents dice defied incredible odds to destroy me without mercy.
I don't really care that I lost so much .... but am pissed at the bullshit dice that follow me on both sides (opponents and my own). Obviously I'm just really unlucky at times but sometimes you have to wonder ...
Yesterday in ONE game alone I lost 17v2, 18v3, and 25 v4. Pretty insane when your opponents start scratching their heads and wonder how that is possible. In other games yesterday, of note, I lost another 17v2 and a 15 v2 (off the top of my head).
The point of this thread you ask? No point at all except I just want to say that I'd rather go back to the old bullshit system than continue with this 'new' bullshit system because I've seen this bullshit happen MUCH more often since the new system was implemented - and I am certainly not alone in recognizing this.
Flame this all you want - it won't change my opinion that something is wrong here. Any coincidence that a number of the 'old-time' players have walked away?

The change in the dice system is what I was referring to mostly. It has got a lot worse. I can't even count the number of times I have lost 10+ vs 1 or 2.
