It's not that hard to fix and I don't think there's any point in getting lazy with map making now. We want the quality of maps to keep improving, not getting worse.

I hate to break it to you Keyogi, but 1 pixel of difference does not discernibly change the quality of the map. Please stop holding up good maps. It takes far too long for new maps to make it to full playability. Thanks.

one pixel here one there a few gameplay issues next and pretty soon we'll have just rough drafts that get quenched.
if a standard was set then just follow that standard.

It's not getting Quenched until Fitz comes back. :) So you can all shut it.

Also Qwert, take your trolling out of the Foundry. :)

Knowing what I do now, I'd be able to do better if I started from scratch (no no no..).
If anyone else wants to take a shot at optimizing the xml, please do so. The maps and code are here in the forum.

Regarding the opposites in the lobby. All lobbies do not have their corresponding opposites. Wont that stick out more if we start pairing the others?

well, imoff to bed to face more feverinduced crap....

damn flu

Well, I'm back. That flu hit hard.
Read the quote above as to what I've managed to do regading the centralization. I just can't get it perfect.

As to the name thing, is it an official change request?

I think the names of the Senators sound funny. They should be mostly white male names. Kenny, Zoe, Kyle, Lola, Suki, all sound like its some kind of teenage hang out. Why no pull the first names of real senators, like, oh i dunno, Bernard, Sheldon, Arlen, Frank, Herb, and other crotchety names. If your going to have really lobbyist and media, it seems a little silly to have make believe senators.

I think we had this argument a long time back and somehow more varied (less American) names won.

I personally like the big map better. The small version looks kinda cramped.

Other than that, nice job! Can't wait till it gets quenched!

if it means getting this map incorporated into the site quicker, then feel free to ignore this.

my only complaint about the map is that the names of the senators seem out of place from the otherwise-clever territories. if you're looking for more appropriate names for the seats, use the states that always side democrat (cali, new y, new england ones in general) and states that always side republican (texas, georgia, kentucky). i'm confident that you could easily find 14 of each.

The name arguments occurred and were resolved long ago. One of the things in the foundry is that you shouldn't bring up stuff that has already been driven into the ground. :x

Well I sent Andy a PM about something on the 20th and he still hasn't been online to receive it so it is hard to say.
