Re: X-Men Mafia - Day 3! Two more town killed!

On a second read, Ga7 appears to be town genuinely attempting to find scum.

Fircoal did do some useful analysis early in the day, then voted for Naxus and stuck with it for the rest of the day.

Aage seems to be town, since if he was scum, he could have just taken the easy out and voted for Naxus. Mafia usually don't put themselves in the spotlight just to defend a townie they can easily lynch.

I find Serbia the most suspicious right now...

Do we need any more proof that Naxus is scum?

colton24 wrote:He isn't scum unless the scum have a hider role...

And now I'm confused... explain further?

Serbia wrote:There certainly is a lot of unforced claiming going on early on in a game. I know I haven't played in a while, but seems to me a bit paranoid to start claiming things this early, especially things like "I tried my action on someone, but they got killed before it worked, booz0rs", and "I tried it on this one guy, but it didn't work, and I got his ability, except it's not his ability, so somehow someone else targeted the SAME PLAYER (like, maybe, 3 of us all did LOL WUT?!) and I got some third party ability! Cool huh?" I'm suspicious of all of these claims, because I don't see the point in it just yet.

Serbia wrote:Naxus does look scummy to me. And if he does pop up as scum, then lala and aage could be the threesome we're looking for.

VOTE: Naxus

Correct me if I'm wrong, but these are the only posts I've seen from Serbia during Day 2. The first is a trivial request for colton to be more clear. The second one is pointing out that unforced claiming is suspicious, without really saying who he thinks is scum. The third is a vote towards the popular lynch, which would likely not be seen as scummy since it was the consensus lynch. It seems scummy to me to barely say anything during the discussion, then follow the mistaken townie towards the lynch. Vote: Serbia

This is answered easily.

The case built up against Naxus had no consistancy. A bunch of naggers looking for someone to claim. I didn't believe you, so consequently I believed Naxus. Every time you guys thought you'd come up with another argument you were just searching an excuse to lynch Naxus anyway. I didn't like it, so therefore I decided on defending Naxus. No, I had no idea what Naxus was, but I was pretty sure he wasn't scum.

Day Scene

That morning, a brilliant flash lit up Professor Xavier's office. When it cleared, a single letter was atop his desk. It was from Moira Mactaggert, mutant researcher and long-time friend of the X-men. It read:

Take caution, Charles. The sentinels are on the move.
-Moira

The X-men knew this meant trouble and hurried to prepare the mansion to meet them.

Day 3 deadline set at Tuesday night. If no majority is reached, the person with the most votes will be lynched.

So we have a deadline here, and nobody's even trying to find the scum. Hmmm......

Meh, Voting a submariner sucks, but if that is what it comes down to it beats the hell out of a no lynch. I want a official count before I place anything however.

Wow, really? Submarining?

AceArtemis wrote:Colton, is there a chance your ability could have gotten redirected to someone who was a hider?

AceArtemis wrote:Colton, does your ability roleblock them for one night, or remove their ability for the entire game?

AceArtemis wrote:Naxus' claim and the fact that he used his action on a dead person, as well as colton's claim that Naxus was lying makes Naxus's claim very suspect.

That being said, the role Naxus claimed is a confirmable role, as if he is telling the truth, the action should be visible during the day.

AceArtemis wrote:If naxus was a hider, I don't know why he would lie about that role. If naxus was a mafia hider, I also can't see him lying about being a hider.

Then again, colton would have no reason to lie about his action, unless he was a lyncher and naxus was the lynchee. Colton's nameclaim also seems legit.

I think the most likely possibility is that colton's ability got redirected.

And that is all the activity that we had from Ace on Day two. I can't help it that I was busy in RL during day two. I've obviously been more active recently, no? Also, I voted, because a lynch of someone who was in fact acting scummy was better than a no lynch. Ace didn't even bother to vote. So if we were actually looking at number of posts, and usefulness, then I'd have to say that Ace is also looking scummy, if you think I am.

I'm going to VOTE: Strike Wolf
for two reasons. One, since we now have a deadline, and I don't particularly want to be lynched, I want to keep myself with a fighting chance as we get closer to Tuesday. Also,
strike wolf wrote:Well that sucked...At this point FOS: Ga7 While the Naxus lynch did seem like legitimate reason to go after him, Ga7 is the one who lead the charge the whole way in drawing suspicion onto him.

Also FOS: Aage you may have been right about Naxus but I still don't like the way you acted on day 2.

Ga7 did lead the charge to lynch naxus, but strike happily followed. In fact, if Ga7 was the lynch leader, then Strike was the First Lieutenant helping achieve lynch. And then FOS'ing aage is suspicious to me - almost as if he's just trying to throw something on the wall to see if it sticks. All rather scummy in my opinion.

I'm equally happy to lynch either Serbia or Strike Wolf, thought I just think Strike Wolf is more scummy and should reply. Reply! please

If I have the vote count correct its 3 for Serbia and 2 for Strike Wolf. Deadline is tomorrow and we need 6 to lynch. So I'm assuming that is not gonna happen before the deadline.

People, post. And I don't mean the people that are already dead or modding.
