I was curious about that, also.

I'm sure it's just as possible that he could slip up again...

Nah, live and learn. Heck, Telvannia's mafia game taught me a lot about the role of being a mafia, and how to spot them.

Moreover, I can't break that rule again.

I was laying the groundwork for my upcoming lie, which I was gonna reveal the next day. I was gonna say I was a retiring cop, you could only investigate 3 players. I was gonna give my 3 names, and I was gonna sell out my mafia partner to make it look real. With his ok of course. I was killed by someone during the night, so I was never able to use it.

so why don't we wait for that to happen? we don't know what he is at this point, so it's kinda silly I think.

Wicked, you seem to bring up past games more then most. Yet, when a topic about a past game breaks out here, you are wondering what it has to do with this game. Make up your mind. Things that happen in past games can help us along in this game.

sure MB, how they act in all games can be compared to how they act in the current game. but voting/FOSing someone JUST BECAUSE of another game's actions is ridiculous!

PMed MB. I thought he was inactive, and since I'd asked the mod to prod like 3 other players I was getting annoyed with having to wait, especially when there was only one more vote until lynch.

oh I see nothing wrong with prodding another player to post, although it is technically illegal and should be up to the mod. if the mod sucks, then yeah, I can see that, as long as you don't talk about game specifics. I've told others I've seen in chat or elsewhere, "hey go play mafia". if that's all it was, I see nothing wrong with that.

Heh, my entire message to him was "You're usually active, mind sharing your thoughts?", which is hardly groundbreaking material.

His post was:

You are more inactive in this game as in past games. Care to explain why?

Something along those lines. I posted once a day in that game. I voted during every day phase. I have played enough mafia games, where I dont need someone to come asking me to post more. And question me why I wasn't in a PM.

...Explain to me why you breaking the "Do not Edit, delete posts" rule is better than me breaking the pm rule in the itnerests of speeding up a game?

You are a noob, and most likely mafia, due to the fact that last game, when you weren't mafia, you PMed people. This game you haven't, which means you might be mafia.

My edit come seconds after posting it, and I come right out and call myself on it. I would not break the rules, of editing out anything of importance to the game, and most of the players here know I would never do that. Stop reaching.

Why haven't you PM'd anyone in this game exile (before you were modkilled)? If you did it in the other game?

If I was mafia, which I'm not, I would likely have PM'd my fellow conspirators. Unless we're assuming that there is only 1 mafia (old theory), but then I could have easily lied.

Moreover, you're basing your entire vote upon how i acted in one mafia game as a townie, as opposed to looking at how I acted when I was mafia. How do you know I'm not the cop or the doc, and thus wouldn't act the same as a mason in that game?

For the same reasons I eventually did PM MB in the other game?

The mod was taking forever to prod people and get replacements in. The game was moving slow. I wrote 7 words to an experienced mafia player asking for his views on the lynch which we needed one more person for, and aside from that various PM's to the other mason.

here I have no such mtication. The game is moving fairly quickly, we have converstaion flowing, and we're not held on the brink of a lynch by one vote.
