2 Litres of milk

Post by Kalano Sanchin »

22 of us are going to attempt to drink 2 litres of milk as a part of a competetion to see who is the fastest at drinking 2 litres of milk and ultimately the best at everything in the world.

Is drinking 2 litres of milk possible to do without throwing up?

Have you drunk 2 litres of milk in a short space of time?

Any tips for drinking 2 litres of milk in a short amount of time?

You're going to throw up. The whole lot of you. If you YouTube "the milk challenge" you could probably find some people who posted the results

I believe milk is slightly acidic, ph around 6.5 or something. Far less acidic than your stomach, but might not feel that good in your esophagus and throat. I don't know for sure, but you might get some heart burn.

Second, most adults have some degree of lactose intolerance. After infancy you no longer have as much of the enzyme needed to break down lactose. Putting 2 liters in your stomach at once might cause some digestion problems.

Just some thoughts, not really sure if it's safe or not. Have fun.

If I used skim milk would I have a competetive edge?

Im even thinking of using lactose free milk to beat the vomiting problem...

Do it on an empty stomach then.

Lactose free could give you an edge afterwards, but it doesn't taste so good so it could lower your drinking speed. You should consider low-fat.

Four litres of milk will pwn you.

Two you might get away with, if you drink it in intervals. Now I know speed is a factor, but do your opponents loose if they puke?

It's the sudden influx of protein that overwhelms your stomach, so here's your edge:

Take three Lactaid 20 min. before you start.
Choose skim milk, and have it at room temperature. Very important. Cold milk shocks the stomach, and drops your core temp slightly triggering the body's purge instinct.
Don't do this on an empty stomach, do it on a slightly empty stomach. Eat one or two slices of white bread right after your lactaid with a 1/2 a cup of water. This primes your stomach and when the milk hits it will be already in gear working on those sugars and carbs so again, no sudden shock.
If there is a "You puke, you loose" rule, don't get rushed by the milk chuggers.
More than likely, slamming two liters of milk down in 2-3 min. will cause a hurl, so finishing first may not be your best strategy.
If there's no puke rule, then just tilt back, open your esophagus and pour it right down in a medium stream without swallowing. However make sure you bring a bucket.

Hope it helps!

2 liters is possible going off the fact that 1 gallon approx.=4 liters, and I know of people who can do the 1 gallon challenge. 2 liters really isn't that bad, so good luck to you :)

QFT! I have done it this way with a gallon. Took me a half an hour, but I was the only one to keep it down.
