Presumably the reason he feels Clickable Maps is a "cheat" is because some players do not actually have access to it (for example, they use a browser that isn't Firefox or Chrome), not because some people choose not to use it. If it were implemented as an option, then everyone could choose to use it if they wanted to, and so it can't be a cheat, because the situation is the same for everyone - you can choose to use Clickable Maps, or you can choose not to use it. The problem with the status quo is that (supposedly) some people cannot choose to use it.
If you read what he is saying, that is absolutely NOT what he is saying. He has stated explicitly that if clickable maps is not STANDARD FOR ALL GAMES then it's a "game cheat".
You must be misunderstanding what he's saying.
How could I misunderstand his explicit statement that if clickable maps is not STANDARD FOR ALL GAMES then it's a "game cheat". It really doesn't leave any wiggle room.
I don't know, but apparently you are misunderstanding it. If clickable maps is available in every game then his condition is met. The fact that you can turn it off is completely irrelevant, because functionally it's the same as just not clicking the maps.
If you still fail to comprehend this, then just stop talking for him and let him speak for himself.
I understand what YOU'RE saying. My point is that is NOT what HE is saying. Quite explicitly, in fact.
