It does that, but it also kinda makes it look it doesn't belong on this map.ender516 wrote:I think the thick black outline makes it look more impassable. It certainly jumped out at me this time that way.

Unless it was done really well it would look cheesy and out of place. I think it's better to keep it abstract.o.k. maybe you could do un buffer zone as wire fence? maybe (where is enough place) with small watchtowers?
I´ve meant it more as only to insinuate wire fence. there is small ship (to insinuate connection between British bases, there are small flags to insinuate British zones, the are 3d mountains...)The Bison King wrote:Unless it was done really well it would look cheesy and out of place. I'm wondering if it might look cool to fiddle with the colouring - so it is dark in the middle and lighter towards the edges (or visa versa). At first glance it could be mistaken as a wierd river, although once the map has been studied that perception disappears.thenobodies80 wrote:ok, the point is that the UN Zone is impossible to represent with a symbol, texture, ect on a map because it's something really complex. The large gray line is the best result, what we have done in those days is just going around imo. But it's ok
Anyway, considering that i think that it doesn't look bad and that it's clear its main purpose as impassable...i'm happy with the UN Zone as it is on version 6.1
I'll do better british flags because they look weird.

It's not CC, It's the people...you, me, everyonetheBastard wrote:thenobodies80, I like your map and gameplay from start. and I have nothing against your UN buffer zone and I never understand why CC has so big demands...
The pics show only the touristic side of the green zone. But it's more complex, in some parts it looks more like a war zone: Empty houses, random barriers, abandoned hotels and also an airport; in other parts is only fields. I'll try with a dark brownThe Bison King wrote:I'm not sure about the green on the mini map since there isn't any green on the actual map. I would use the dark brown of the Limassol bonus.
