Having something underneath text is going to conflict it, and make it inherantly less readable. Now you may for personal preference ignore that loss of readability in certain circumstances, but that's an issue of taste and overall design.

Thats actually a feature i like a lot. One thing i like to see in maps are difficult routes to follow. Something that could potentially make it difficult for one person to just roll through the entire map with a large force. A decent sized army on south greenland could foil an entire onslaught.

---Take care, and make sure all numbers are centralized in the army shadows. It makes the map look more professional. Lack and I have decided that there should be centralization in all new maps, and in respect to the old ones they will eventually be asked to fix the minor errors.
the blue numbers are hard for me to read in the circles, dunno if there's anything you can do about it.

Will do. I fixed some glaringly bad ones, but I can go fine tune the rest.the blue numbers are hard for me to read in the circles, dunno if there's anything you can do about it.
I'll try doing something about it. I can see that they might be hard to read because of darkness.
