Speed Freestyle Start of games

Post by jrh_cardinal »

So does anyone agree that the people that don't join a speed freestyle game last get screwed? The last player always has the first opportunity at taking a turn, which can greatly effect games from 1v1 to 8 man Doodle Assassin.

To fix this I have suggested a 20-30 second wait period at the start of the game so that everyone has a chance to see the game and get into it before it starts, then everyone can start their turn at the same time and the game will start much more fairly, as it should be. If you have an opinion on this, positive or negative, please post here.

Makes sense, but I keep my distance from freestyle anyway.

Nothing is fair. As long as there are dice involved this game will not be fair. This will make it fairer, yes. What is wrong with that?
Put it this way, if you have the option between having something fair, and having it unfair, why would you choose the unfair option?
