Sorry misunderstood the term pro town. What I meant is it is unlikely that there is a positive benefit for keeping you around, and there is a distinct chance that you could be a survivor that is harmful to the town.
In the third book the entire elven nation marched against Empire. When Eragon returned to Du Weldenvarden it was deserted, only the children and some of the oldest elves remained. I assume that anyone dedicated enough to the Inheritance Cycle to make a Mafia game about it would keep that in mind. Also, many of the dwarves have only fought the empire when provoked and believe that strict isolation is the best option. It makes a lot of sense for a dwarf to be a survivor, I just wonder if he has some potential anti Town abilities....
How would claiming mason partners determine who was scum? Couldn't they claim each other? Can scum talk to eachother normally? Could they be masoned too? It would make sense because all the rest of us are.

They would claim a mason group and if we kill one of them and know their masons, we find all the scum
I'm not sure what to do. Does anyone remember at the beginning of the game when I asked if this setup would be similar to Star Wars Mafia and it was. We are looking at basically equal numbers of both Empire and Varden. While everyone else is third party and must pick a side.
Should we do a mass roll-claim?

Also note the danger of survivors. Duday brings up the Star Wars Mafia, where Koesen revealed Rebel at the end and got all the survivors left to gang up on Darth Vader and The Emperor (me) leading to a Rebel victory. Survivor is dangerous.
You guys seem to be forgetting that scum can also be members of mason groups. It seems very possibles that individual members of these various groups could be scum. Also I thought roles in this game came with specific characters, not just stuff like "dwarve". Does cena have such a character? If so can he tell us? For those who have read the books, are there any evil dwarf characters?
No, mass claiming seams lame.... It would break this game, and not necessarily for the better...The good guys would tell the truth and the bad guys would lie. If the scum cell was found it would be an easy win, if it wasn't found till late and there is only a few town they could kill them off quite quickly. It could be possible if there was a sane cop in the town, but if we had an insane one roleclaim.... Claiming is beter left untill after day one...
I also assume there are more Empire then you assume duday, otherwise the mafia would likely quite easily win. Was the Star Wars done with equal Rebels and Empire?

there is a clan of dwarves that hates Eragon?But i wouldn't say they'd be just evil but more middle of the road

Hey, I would like to confirm Cena's story, I'm one of his contacts, I feel comfortable claiming this from a logical standpoint, there's no reason for either side to waste too much of your kills on just another generic mason group when there are much more powerful forces on either side. There is no reason for me to come out like this if we're scum, just wait, I'm sure any logical investigator would check out one of us tonight. If we're scum I can guarantee you the cop will come out with it tomorrow, who wouldn't take up the chance to bust two lying scum at once?

So no claiming yet.
But It was Rebels vs. Empire. And I think the rebels had a little less than the empire. But like 60% of the people in the game were 3rd party survivors who basically chose a side in the end.

hmm okay that is an interesting thought well bearing in mind that i'm probably not nearly as clever as I think I am I'm thinking there are 3 groups of masons, and 9 named roles with three good, three bad, and three odd. I'm also thinking the third drawf appears on the first half of the list?

Can I ask, what happens at deadline? is it if there is not a lynch a no lynch is enforced or is it taken by a majority. Also, you dont have a list of rules
Barring someone running through the streets screaming " I AM SCUM!" It is unlikely we will gain the needed momentum for a lynch. Night will come soon enough, hopefully we can get enough info to do something more constructive day 2.
