I can't recall what the rest were for but I've been banned quite a bit. Each case deservedly so.

Thanks, gang!

hehe, yeah. It was hilarious. I remember that someone posted a thread asking why everyone had the hypnotoad av and then discovering that he had it too.

It got even funnier when it turned out that nagerous could change all avs and I discovered that for some reason I couldn't remove people from the av-list.

For bumping all of the logic dictates threads out of the pits into easy view. That also, for some reason, resulted in many of them being locked. :(

My first ban (24hr) was for being mean to King Doctor.
(I believe he received a banned at the same time for being mean to me.)

Upon our return King Doctor immediately tried be a nice guy (sic)... and I insulted him with horrible language.

I still adhere to my principals and refuse to participate in this scheme.

That said, I will try to avoid calling (as you say) a "fucking shitrag bitch cunt fuckstick whore fucker"*. I promise to try to be nice to you, and not blast you or quote you unless you say something really outrageous.**

*even though we both agree that you are.

**even though we both agree that is all you say in this forum.

viewtopic.php?f=8&t=122440

.. for this I received a 72Hr ban.

Do you think it was appropriate?

I was told that my insult was uncalled for because he wasn't baiting me. Do you think a thread named jim jimminy jim jimminy etc. might be a little bit of a bait?

Next question... will I get another ban for "reprinting" it?

Expect people of King Doctor's persuasion to use the website "government" to get what they want, instead of sucking it up and dealing with it like a man.

Aaah, I remember that, the built-in feature of setting clan-member's avatars... Are you allowed to lead a usergroup again, btw?

My first run-in with the modsquad as it was called back then didn't result in a ban, but it did result in a change in the guidelines. Yes, it's true, I'm responsible for the third point under nudity specifics. It's my fault we can't use nipples as avatars.

I got my first warning for a link to a Wikipedia article. The pornography debates of late 2008... those were the days.

Then I pissed off Twill a couple of times but always got away with it, until, on may 15th 2009, both clapper and Night Strike wanted to ban me, clapper for spamming in Off-Topics and NS for rickrolling someone in a "post a random link" thread, clapper was faster. I can still recall an avowed christian clicking a link labeled "Nearly completely naked hot chicks!" and cursing at me in a post 5 minutes later when he'd finally managed to close and restart his browser. I honestly hadn't expected anyone to fall for it, I thought it was a too obvious trap, but apparently there is no such thing on the internet. The thread appears to have been deleted since, though.

Ahh yes, more ranty butthurt ravings from a man who is upset that one of his 'mutual agreement' buddies got banned.

Perhaps what you need is to start taking the independent actions of the valued mods more like a man, instead of moaning about it and blaming it on (alleged) Machiavellian manipulators like me.

LMAO

are these the same "valued mods" that banned dave because they're all nasty conservatives that disagreed with dave's political genius?

I see that you have taken the typical Conservative approach of getting flustered and grappling with a straw man.

To clarify the situation for you: I, for one, have never said that Pimpdave (one of this forum's finest contributors) was banned because of his political views. Nor have I ever described a moderator here as a 'nasty conservative'. The reasons for PD's banning are not something to which I have been privy, though I am sure that our valued and highly esteemed moderating team are perfectly capable of policing themselves and of ensuring that only the very highest standards of quality are adhered to by themselves.

Now, I appreciate that Jim's banning and my subsequent running of rings around yourself have caused you a great deal of consternation and angst, but I will remind you that trolling and baiting are prohibited in this forum and must thank you to refrain from the same.

Good day.

Uh...no...from all indications I've seen, pimpdave seems to hate john9blue with the white-hot fury of a sun, actually. He would slit his own throat before agreeing with him, from what I can tell.
