Is it just as racist to SUPPORT someone based on race; as it is to OPPOSE someone based on race

Are there a lot of racist black people? or is Obama doing a perfect job? which is it?

Bottom line: blacks vote liberal overwhelmingly, even before Obama.

Are you an idiot, or are you an idiot?

did I say anything how black people vote? no. not only did you fail to understand the written words, but you missed the larger point. total fail

oh, excuse you.

sooo, who's an idiot?

:D

lol wiggle away little worm. You can squirm all you want, but splitting hairs about how they vote/what views they express does not get you out of explaining your stupid post. Blacks tend, overwhelmingly, to be liberal. I've told you before that blacks approved of Clinton as much as they voted/support Obama. Let's see, you love the false dichotomies, so let me give you this one.

Is Clinton black, or are all blacks racists that vote for both black and white people?

I'm pretty sure, even though I don't have any references to back it up, that Obama is 100% human. Maybe.

This is true, but it is a sad fact of life that it is harder for some people to get jobs as sushi chefs.

if you are voting for someone, because of their race, based on race. that is racist. thanks for the light bulb as it is clear now it was me that did not understand my own question. there is no way you missed the point....

We are trying to beat racism here, not show others how to turn off the brain and jump to conclusions

Meh, so what. Matthews has been around long enough and done enough for us to know it was just a slip up and nothing vicious. Any controversy from this is just pathetic.

FIRED!

What?

Chirs Mathews, I am just watching this fatty go. Race this, race that, I mean seriously, who talks about race, constnatly, except for a racist.

It is obvious to me.

Right, but is it not the truly UN-racist way, to not even mention race? and treat people like normal human beings? and go about your business as usual?

It is blatantly racist to me when people start going on about how they have black or brown friends(if that is true, you should not be in a position to have to proclaim the freindship orally), or try to show in public by acting extra nice to a person who is a different color(kissing babies).

This is still illegal, regardless of the colour of the baby. Do not do it in the presence of a police officer.

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - They've been called Oreos, traitors and Uncle Toms, and are used to having to defend their values. Now black conservatives are really taking heat for their involvement in the mostly white tea party movement—and for having the audacity to oppose the policies of the nation's first black president.

And you think Scotty is driving a wedge? I think you're wrong, lest of course millions of minorities are reading this thread and taking offense, assuming Scotty is white.

Side Note:

Let's not forget that it was Republicans who supported and Democrats who strongly opposed the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The recently dead Byrd spoke more than 14 hours against the bill during the second-most lengthy filibuster in history. Republicans ushered in the age where civil rights were to be enjoyed by Black Americans while Democrats struggled to keep them down (and still have largely managed to do so, sadly).

It was the Dixiecrats who opposed Civil Rights legislation, and that the filibuster was a conducted by Strom Thurmond alone for 24 hours. Let's not forget that it took the Democratic President at the time to arm-twist the bill into passing, and that upon signing it, he is rumored to have said (and if he did say it, he was right), "We've lost the South for a generation."

HAHA. Good stuff. Really. But I have to ask, is it ok to notice that? or, are you saying, the fact that I would notice that makes me racist?

You know these kind of nuances about what is ok to "think" and what information should and shouldnt be mentioned during an observation is really reminiscent of the way the Catholic Church suppressed science in the middle ages.

... Race and gender quotas slipped into financial regulation bill.

... How nice.

++++++++

WASHINGTON - What one finds when reading congressional legislation is invariably surprising. Take the Dodd-Frank financial regulation bill, for instance, which was created by merging Senate and House bills. When the Senate returns from recess one of its first actions will be to vote on the bill, which passed the House on June 30.

I was searching the bill for a provision about derivatives. What did I find but Section 342, which declares that race and gender employment ratios, if not quotas, must be observed by private financial institutions that do business with the government. In a major power grab, the new law inserts race and gender quotas into America's financial industry.

The problem is not racism. It is the left's complete obsession with it (quite racist in itself).

also interesting to note. the % of people who disagree, and are obviously WRONG, is a mirror reflection of the % of progressive Liberals?
