Quite possible, unless we run into a problem with a maximum length for names in the XML, which was niggling at the back of my mind as typed "Confederation of the Rhine". I will look into that. In the meantime, forward the list of battle information and I will merge it in. If we are doing this, it might be fun to add the dates to the map, say, written across the swords and wrapped around the bottom of the naval battle site circles. However, this might get messy, especially on the small map. Still, perhaps it is worth a quick check.
Rivoli - January 1797: Italy Pyramids: July 1798 - Egypt Jaffa - March 1799: Palestine Marengo: June 1800: Piedmont Ulm: October 1805: Baden & Berg Austerlitz: December 1805: Bohemia Jena: October 1806: Hessen Friedland - June 1807: East Prussia Wagram: July 1809: Vienna Oporto: May 1809: Oporto Rousse: October 1811: Rumelia Badajoz: March 1812: Extremadura Salamanca: July 1812: Leon Smolensk: August 1812: Smolensk Borodino: September 1812: Borodino Beresina: November 1812: Belorussia Leipzig: October 1813: Saxony Chateau-Thierry - February 1814: Burgundy Toulouse: April 1814:Aquitaine Waterloo: June 1815: Belgium
The dates of the naval battles are as follows:
Toulon: December 1793 Cape St. Vincent: February 1797 Camperdown: October 1797 Aboukir: August 1798 Copenhagen: April 1801 Boulogne: October 1804 Trafalgar: October 1805 Dardanelles: May 1807

Okay, the legend says "Prussia", but the label in the Baltic Sea says "K. of Prussia". Which do you want in the XML? "Kingdom of Prussia" is another option.
Kingdom of Prussia is the four-territory region. All individual regions are called by their name, without Kingdom. So, if you refer to an entire regions, as in Holds Kingdom of Prussia, use Kingdom please. It is is a specific region, as in Conquers Denmark (which is different from Kingdom of Denmark), don't use Kingdom.
For Prussia, please use Kingdom of Prussia. Many thanks.
I will have that list of adjacent territories for you shortly.
This seems reasonable, but how do you convey that in the legend? You may get a lot of whining during Beta from the legal eagles about not getting all the bonuses they think they are owed.
this is a pretty map, and I understand the amount of work...
BUT... CC needs another European or North american map like we need strep throat. How many different organizations and variations of europe and na are gonna be redone?
Anyway, my 2 cents. Thanx for the work and Im sure enough people love europe maps it will go through.

Aww, and there's still one more to come
LOL/// man im sure by the time i leave CC in how ever many years.. there will be 12309123102380 europeam maps and 2349898 NA maps.
Speaking as a players player, one that plays every map and likes at least one thing about all of them- The Euro and NA theme is tired and old. There are so many potential maps out there, but people seem intent on making their own Euro and NA version... I dunno.
Like I said, dont let me be a negative nancy... This map has pretty artwork and looks like a solid endeavor.
Well those of us who like history disagree. Each map tells a different story in a different way, and although the canvass is similar -Europe or North America - the gameplay for each map is always new.
You are most welcome to suggest other maps or develop them yourself. One does not exclude the other.

Thanks for your input.
How in the hell does this tell a different story???
You want a napoleon map that tells a story and is a piece of artwork? Try Austerlitz... Like one of the best maps in the game. How exactly is this different from Europe 1914 or the other europe maps? because the only difference I can really tell is the deliniation of territorys is diff and the artwork.
I mean whatever,,, just dont get hurt over the truth.
sorry - meant to say... this map is friggin identical to third crusade... a europe map plus some extra stuff. .. I really need to get off the thread because I know im jsut upsetting ppl even though I believe its the truth. This map looks good, and Im sure ppl will love it. Gl.
Well if you read the legend and study the gameplay you will see exactly how it is different from Europe 1914. And, of course, it has nothing to so with Third Cruisade besides the fact that the artist is the same.
In any case, enjoy playing the maps you like, and give this one a try when it goes Beta. You might even like it
I play every map, every setting... someone at 1400 games such as yourself may not get this. Ill play your map. But for a lot of us its gonna be a been there done this type of thing.
Im trying to help CC. Not hurt your feelings or make an enemy. This is just another re-incarnation in my opinion. We will have to agree to dis-agree man. And for what its worth your artwork is better than a lot of the current euro maps.
gl in you mapmaking days, may your next one be special.
