Using Laddida as the benchmark, I have 9 wins to 4 losses when playing against him.
When we have teamed up (which was quite often for a time) we chalked up 40 wins to 14 losses (74%).
Considering my overall win rate of 74% on triples one could say that he did well holding my win rate at 69% in our matches, however, his win rate is 73% so it is hardly surprising.

Thanks for the approval AoN, however, unfortunately you have beaten me in two games out of the eight we played across the board from each other. It is testament to the scoring system that whilst I was on the winning team 6 times out of the 8 games I still lost 30 points overall!
But hey! At least I have never put you or anyone else on foe because my points loss would be too high.

Just think how many points you would lose if the dice weren't playing nice. Nothing much to gain and a lot to lose...
Rocket.
Huh. I was thinking something similar (although not specific to these gentlemen/ladies). Trips teams that get my respect? Heck yeah. All those mentioned (and many more) get tons of respect when I enter a trips game with them. Fear? Only one group. Cooks baby. It's a long slide down ain't it?

i agreen i fear cooks the most lofl their wreckless play can get them a win at any game and its usually vs me

usually the better team wins but if you play the same cooks 10 games in my posistion and lose one game im still losing more points than i can gain. Ive lost 90-100 points a couple times when those 3 vs 3 attacks get hot ive even seen 3 vs 8 get dominated a time or 2 sometimes the stars just line up.
I haven't played a lot of trips, but I've played against some of the people mentioned in this thread and won some and lost some, my team has even won some tournaments, so there isn't anyone I "fear." There are definately people or teams where I know I will have to play well to win, but I think I do play well, so that doesn't bother me.
I'm wondering if anyone else has the experience of playing to the level of the competition? When we play against highly ranked teams our play is near flawless, but when we play against teams that make obvious mistakes or with obvious newbs we tend to rush moves and take the win for granted. I call it drop and go. Drop the armies on the board and attack the enemy with them.
