It just occurred to me you might not just be speculating. Could you be more specific? A SNS is more of a style of gun as far as I know.

Oh, you know - manufacturer, model, caliber, etc. I'd say SNS is a non-answer since any gun can be a "saturday night special". That's a term used for a gun that can be bought cheap, for use on a saturday night. I dont know what it is but,...I'm just sayin'.

Still it has been a week, and the second pic should have done it. It's a Cobray Pocket Pal .22 LR/.380, dual-barrel, switch-cylinder, top-break revolver. Also e chip, if the one at the range is a Mossberg Brownie (four shot .22) they are supposed to be a minor collector's item.

not a SNS (as the term came after the gun), but, judging by the fact that you posted a picture of what appears to be the same exact gun, I'm assuming you know what it is.

This is interesting, your pic shows up on the first page of a Google image for the '58. Though that is
Wikipedia, but I am not aware of a Remington 1851, if we are talking about the 1851 Navy that's not it. Are you sure you didn't mean the Remington 1858, and 1875?

No nevermind,, you're right. It was a model 1858, my mistake.
I was going to post a matchlock, but I couldn't get a picture of one with the model.

Is it a Type 3? I'm not entirely certain of the differences between the Type 92.
Providing i'm right:
