Day vig, cap this mother. That way, we can deal with colton today if we need to.

vote cw for purely blundiferous behavior. really dude? you want to test your theories by killing off helpful roles? i've been a vig a just shot people b/c it was fun, but never someone claiming an investigative role. i hate to sound like an elitist douche, but we can do w/out that sort of thinking in this game. sorry man, but its true

BANGBANGTHOC!

The townies looked up, again. Not to see what had just happened, cause they had a pretty good idea, but rather to whom it had happened. And as it happened, they had a pretty good idea about that too.

The severed head with the crossbow bolt right through the middle belonged to none other than Captainwalrus, whose "Hey, how about we all go zombie?!" idea had failed to impress.

Sadly, he had told the truth about his identity. Oh well. Still time to catch some real scum!

Captainwalrus, the vig, has been killed.

Sterling work guys, lets all bandwagon and kill the vigilante.. a very important killing role with the large threat of zombies. Keep up the good work, a simple cop investigation would have sufficed on our walrus fella to clarify his allegiance but noooooo that's not good enough for us. Keep up the good work too day vig, you truly are an asset to this town

The deadline is next Friday, so you may come back on Monday and impress everyone with your mafia skills (by which I mean the game mafia, cause I'm not making any statements about your allegiance :)).

If you haven't posted by Tuesday, I may punish you with a command to say everything in sonnets, though. :)

w/ our luck Walrus would likely have shot the cop tonight. either that or we out the cop, to verify the vig who is trying to kill everyone.

Nag how about posting some theories of your own instead of snarking on those of us trying to accomplish anything. I looked back on your past several posts and there hasn't been substance to any of them. classic scum tactic, post enough not to submarine but don't add anything to the conversation.

:?: If you were so opposed to us voting the walrus then why didn't you defend him while he was still alive?

I realise it seemed scummy to make the 'I told you so' speech just after his death but the truth of the matter was I was mulling this over, thinking about it in bed last night as I'm sad and do things like that and was planning on writing a defence on him about how it would be a bad thing to kill a vigilante as he would be very useful in late game and his claim can always be verified but when I woke up I noticed all this had happened in my night with the bandwagon and eventual day kill and was a little irritated about all this hence the above post. As for new theories, I don't have any currently but will have a read back and see if anything perks my scumdar.

My opinion on the daykill:

1. Damn. At least we still have our lynch.

2. It seems as though our doc has faith that colton is telling the truth or otherwise he'd already be zombie food. That, or CW was right about colton being a zombie. That would make for an interesting 3rd party function, and if it's right, we may have just saved ourselves a lot of trouble.

Why are we getting day kills and no night kills so far? Why does the vig keep killing our lynch targets before we have a chance to vote him completely? Our lynch is important. Don't we need to get it right? and yet we're not given the chance. I know this gives us another lynch opportunity and more info for the day, but we're still not given the chance to completely mull over the CW lynch. By the way, CW is correct in saying he kinda sucked this game.

A Vig has day killing powers, correct? and yet CW was a vig, so who the hell killed him? I don't know if it's because I haven't played in a while, but this is confusing to me.

PCM, could you explain the part I bolded please:

As to the first question, I think the night kill got blocked.
As to the second question, I guessing we had a silent double voter. Can double voters ever be scum? Well, after a quick look at various role sites, seems the answer is no. Which would indicate another brilliant townie pushing for a lynch, and messing up. Although everyone can agree that walrus was acting super scummy.

Also, VOTE: MountainLion. I still say he's scum, for the same reasons as I laid out previously, and because I think he's good enough to pull it off.

I don't really get it, what's the difference in info between a guaranteed lynch and a last minute day-kill? Pancake was obviously going to hammer if there wasn't a day killer. It sounds like you want us to end the day before the vig kills someone.

Wow, get in my company rental and drive an hour to the nearest Starbucks in the middle of nowhere Nebraska, get online, and see all this. It floors me CW that you targeted colton last night. A) He asked for doctor protection, B) He claimed town. Scum and cops would have been all over his ass last night. Sorry dude, but not your best game.

As for leads to go on today, well I have none. I do think the double voter idea is more then plausible. In which case, whoever you are, you are sentencing people to death and giving the rest of us time to re-lynch. But no night kill last night seems odd. I haven't played in a game before where people always die before they swing from the gallows and night kills aren't happening. It concerns me and makes me think there is quite a bit else going on after hours. But with the 2 day kills, there aren't corpses for later at least. I am inclined to believe that colton is town though and not a zombie, mainly because I'm sure our investigative role checked him out last night and since we got no news about it, he probably isn't a threat. I think someone would have really tried to hammer a case against him today had their result shown scum. ML seems to be the best bet for a lynch at the moment, but I'm just not convinced enough to vote him. Maybe I'll see what happens over the weekend before I decide which side of the fence to lean on.

The guaranteed lynch gives us a hammer vote and possibly more opinions on the lynch before it's officially done. I just want the lynches to play out without the vig interrupting. I didn't say anything about speeding up the lynch. It's the vig that's speeding up the process. Are you saying we should assume PCM would be the hammer?

In regards to your previous question, I'm pretty sure regular vig's get a night kill. We must have a special one. I personally thought this would have been a 1-shot daykiller, but I guess not.

PCM, Gimpy and Safari all seemed inclined to lynch him around the same time, PCM was waiting for the other vig, and Safari seemed to be waiting for his final words to hammer even after his claim. I would say in this case the day would be done with the same result without the vig.

The theory is that NKs=zombies, Daykills=dead. If this is true, a zombie producer is gone.

As far as who killed CW goes, CW was a NK vig and whoever killed him was some sort of daykiller, not necessarily town (and I think the chances of them being anti-town went up considerably, but that's just me)

I want to know where this 2X Voter idea came from, because I see zero indication from it, at least from the last few pages.

Well, technically speaking, I wouldn't have been the hammer because there were only 6 votes and lynch was 8, but if I had voted, yes, it would have been a lynch.

Actually that's probably not true, considering that if I had voted instead of appealing to the DKer and gimpy hammered, Koesen would have posted the death scene at the same time, which was under an hour after my post. That's no time for discussion at all. Now we have 6 RL days to discuss CW and what his posts mean. Are you saying you'd just rather have a good old-fashioned lynching? Or are you saying you'd rather have less discussion?

A good old fashioned lynching, but the reaction I'm getting is confusing. I always thought a vig should keep their power to themselves until they know for sure the target is scum...am I wrong?
