Well, colton, that says a whole lot of nothin'. You're still on the hot seat as far as I'm concerned, but again, I feel that there are better leads.

I have to agree with LSU, CW. Now is the time to "talk it out"

Will try to chip in tomorrow, I haven't understood too much the end of day wagon on CW so I'll reread on that. Else it is really suspicious that no one visited Serbia, that slut, so I'm starting to think he and Colton are scum. :D

After rereading the pages I had skimmed (like hell there was gonna be a lynch anyway) I think CW gives us himself the incentive to pressure him today, what with not answering anything and leaving it out for the next day... FOS for now.

Right, so what exactly am I answering?
Here is what I went down yesterday from my point of view:

Colton acts scummy
ML acts scummy
Serbia sums up arguments against them, then votes ML.
I read serbia's arguments, agree but decide that colton is less neccesary.
Small colton BW
Colton claims watcher
ML votes colton
I try to make a clever remark because I thought ML and colton were scumbuddies, because of serbia's arguments.
I get BW'd
I re-read, realize that the case for colton/ML was not really all that strong, unvote
End Day one.

I admit that in the first day, I looked scummy. My defense is just that it was a mistake and I had not read things, and I took things to be true that were really just assumptions.

That basically is a shortened answer from the ones that you gave similarly 'yesterday'.

So, after going back and looking carefully, you don't think I made a good argument. That makes you lazy at best, a skimmer at least, and scummy at worst.

VOTE: Walrus

A bloodcurdling scream...

...rips the silence apart, bringing back rudimentary ancestral memories of fangs in the night. Instinctively, the shivering townies look for a cave, a fire and a blunt object with a pointy end, before they think of determining the identity of the screamer. A quick head count reveals everybody is still there.

Alright, I am now officially caught up on proceedings and here is where I stand on what has happened so far:

LSU wrote:The only time I've ever heard of a "watcher" type role for the "scum" type was when I created teams like in the civil war. If he is watcher, than he would be protown barring a conversion to a cult/zombie type role.

I have seen mafia watchers in many different games before, including my Super Mario and Fircoal's Confusion Paranoia, saying that I believe colton for now and feel that it would be foolish to further pressurise the individual, especially if we can gain access to his results, which can be analysed for genuinity, watcher is a hard role to fake-claim this early and survive on.

captainwalrus wrote:

wtf is this, some coded message to scum buddies? That strikes me as highly suspicious. Or is it a hidden message stating pancakemix is scum, in case you die tonight??

I think the case against captainwalrus is the strongest I have seen so far.. but I want him to explain that message. Also, captain's defence is weak imo, so far all he has said today is he understands why people think he seems scummy and yesterday how he was going to 'ride it out' to survive the day rather than trying to justify himself. Leaping on Serbia's argument then being very jumpy post-colton's claim. Doesn't strike me as a very strong defence

I was studying for latin midterms, it is latin meaning peace be with you, what with night coming and there being zombies and such I figured that I would say it. It was also my signature a while ago.

Hmm, I'm not sure what this is, but I know it bodes ill for town. I take it to mean that it is a role with a delayed reaction (in which case we may see a death very soon) or it was some scum conversion going on. The latter case is dire indeed... I had figured that zombies recruited instead of killed, but this may confirm it.

As for CW, my curiosity and suspicion is piqued enough to warrant a vote. He admitted himself that he appeared scummy, so I can't find a reason not to do this: Vote CW

@Colton - right on with the investigation, keep them coming every day please

1) FOS Walrus

I won't vote yet, cause I don't want a quick lynch. I do however intend to vote for you becasue I am now 99% certain that you are Scum or will become one. See more under 3).

2) O Mysterious Shooter, it pains me to say this, but you should quit killing people. :( Don't worry, I'm would never make an insane request like that without trying to offer some proof. But, should Walrus get lynched today and shown to be a Zombie, then please stay your wrath and contend yourself to killing people democratically (AKA voting). Otherwise, I will be forced to treat as a hostile.

3) *sound of trumpets that quickly transforms into circus music*

Mandalorian's Crazy Theory (2nd edition)

So far we had one bloodless Night and an apparently bloodless Day killing scene. It is my belief that there was at least one SK/Vig/Mafia Godfather who greeted the Day scene with: "Freck. Who the hell protected HIM?!" :x

However, it is my belief that some, or perhaps all of you have found your mark and struck true. However, this being a Zombie Mafia, the corpses of your victim's refused to stay where you planted them and have instead decided to go for a stroll and then try to eat someone's brain (the latter part makes me feel strangely safe  ).

I believe that the Zombies in this game are a Leaderless Cult. There is (probably) no Zombie Cult Leader or, if there is, I don't think he has recruiting powers. Instead every time someone gets wacked, starting with Night 1, they turn into a brain-eating corpse person. If we are really lucky, they might not be able to communicate amongst themselves (this would be a logical limitation to make the game more balanced). But, each time someone pulls a trigger, another Townie is lost and another undead takes his place.

I believe that Walrus has been assassinated today, following the same logic that the Day Killer followed during Day 1 when he shot Safari: help the condemned man to find his grave fast, so that we might get the most out of the Day time ("Carpe diem!" as Walrusus would put it ;) ). However, Walrus didn't die 100% but has instead started to decompose while retaining all of his charm and verve. Which is why i plan to vote for him.

2) I don't like that scene. Zombie maybe? I'm going to fos CW mainly because I don't want a quick BW lynch

I disagree... If the dead turn to zombies automatically this game would be pretty much unwinnable, since no matter how many days we had to lynch in a perfect run, even if we lynched one zombie every single day, there would be one spare zombie every single night to make one more zombie until town is consumed. The vigilante(?) has shown the ability to kill players utterly, and thus in a "cult" situation where there are presumably more scum as time passes it is most wise to eliminate suspicious players as fast as possible.

A main point to support this in my opinion is this "evidence" may not exist at all, since as you say the zombie may not even know who each other are, and besides that, they are likely tapping into the town, and would thus have a valid town claim from their former selves.

Watchers in the past have actually been allowed to watch themselves in the night phases, but you should seek clarification with the moderator as to whether you are allowed to.

Keep in mind though Colton that watching yourself won't really do much good and knowing you, you would be just as likely to out the doctor or someone instead of scum screwing us as town.

Killed players become Zombies. Lynched people become good imobile corpses. Hence, if people stop NK-ing and DK-ing, no more Zombies will be recruited.

Of course, if you are a Zombie King or something, then I appologize for raining on your parade. ;)

Agree with this viewpoint. Pretty sure a lynch results in the breaking of neck, meaning end-game for that particular player. With kills unless it removes the head or destroys the brain... killing them by I repeat by removing the head or destroying the brain then there is possibly the chance the player might come back to haunt us :|

Very well, even though that doesn't make sense.... we'll see.
The main point I was making is it could possibly be unwinnable in that case, it seems kind of unfair (and extremely unlikely) for a mod to give someone a role that potentially breaks the game with their action alone, especially if they are sk or mafia.

You are missing the elegance of it: the Zombies get recruited by the members of other factions trying to secure the victory for their side. If they also don't know who other Zombies are, then they would end up playing like Bizzaro (refernce to the Superman universe, not to the Mafia game of the same name :ugeek: ) townies who need to figure out who the Townies are and lynch them by persuading the Town that those are Townies are scum.

Anyhow, since this whole "let's avoid the quick lynch and have some more discussion" scenario is beginning to look like another "lets decide whome to lynch and then shake our fists in impotent rage as all the f-ing submariners cause another No Lynch" scenario, I'm going to go go ahead and vote Walrus in an attempt to prove my theory.

Mod: Please substitute Fircoal with someone who actually wants to play the f-ing game (I suggest pmchugh), since Freddychu hasn't posted in 10 days (since last Monday).
