Ok, I reread everything(YAY, back from buisness from nowhere Wyoming and I have reliable internet). As I see it there are 3 peeps to vote for now that we may have enough suspicion to swing a vote towards them. First is colton, although I haven't played enough with him, I get the sense that others have and it sounds like when colton makes a stand, he doesn't change his mind. And with little info to go on in day one, I find it odd that he has been rather all over the place with his convictions on who is scum and his defense of his votes. These actions are very typical for a new player learning what is and isn't ok to do in a mafia game, so most of us let it slide as we realize they are still new. But from what has already been said from other players, I don't get the sense we should be cutting him any kind of slack and letting him get away with it here. Mainly because if he has been around awhile and already knows all this, then why change the way he plays unless he has something to hide?
As for Mountainlion, there is a rather compelling argument out right now that he has supported colton and backed him up with his posts. Now I have played with Mountainlion before and have seen several times where he supports who he thinks has been wronged or agreed with someone that eventually turned out to be scum. It's almost gotten him lynched once or twice before and there was a lot more to go on in those games then there is to go on here. He also states his case rather clearly though and if he was wrong he admits it later. But regardless, he has never based any accusation or lead out of complete BS and I think at this point, the coincedence in the posts between him and colton is just that....coincedence. I may be wrong, but that is what it looks like. I would rather vote colton over ML because if colton turns out scum then ML will do some serious backpeddling tomorrow and bring forth a greath argument first thing that we can all discuss and think about on whether or not we are going to lynch him. Because let's face it, unless something happens in the night that gives us great insight, whichever one doesn't die today will probably be lynched tomorrow.
As for mandy, well:
gimpyThewonder wrote:/ wrote:gimpyThewonder wrote:Mandy that's like logical equivalent of Russian Roulet. Shoot as many people as possible and HOPE that the bullet fires on a bad guy. In all the games we've played together this is my first encounter w/ this particular philosophy. As such, b/c I disagree w/ your methodology and we are pressed for time
vote mandy
it pains me but must be done
Basically you are saying we should not kill people randomly, but you are willing to kill someone you don't want to kill whenever the time limit is expiring.
I didn't want to vote him because Mandy adds something to the game and makes it more fun. But i still feel that his tactics are of the scummy variety in this instance.
I agree with this statement for many reasons and if it were anyone else, most of us vets would probably be voting mandy's sorry ass right now. Basically mandy is just backing up support for a "random" lynch. Many games have them as an option, and yes, sometimes a random lynch may be more helpful(Can't think of one example, but just because it hasn't happened doesn't mean it won't). I would completely agree with you gimpy that this is scummy and several other vets here too would claim a random lynch doesn't help town at all. Typically we'd all jump on that bandwagon and lynch the poor sucker encouraging a random lynch but it's not happening here. Honestly, I've played in several large games with Mandy and he's always one of the first to jump onboard with a "random" lynch. It's nothing new for him and he never really gets anywhere supporting it. So, although your post is accurate, most of us are probably so use to seeing him do this that we don't care. Not defending mandy(As he was born scummy

), just claiming his post seemed scummy because of that statement though is not enough to get me to vote him or others for that matter.
So, mandy, ML, or colton. For now, I don't have enough to go on to swing a vote mandy's way. As for ML, I think he is the lesser choice for a day one lynch. If we were to lynch colton and find him to be scum, then ML will go down tomorrow and fight the whole way doing so. Proably bringing forth a compelling argument and weeding out other scum buddies in the process(If he has any). Colton's actions though seem the least closest to his character according to other players. So, I think he's our best bet. that said,
Unvote, Vote: Colton
