I mean primary contact. I originally thought the leaders would be handling this but have realized some have appointed others to do it. So whoever was the first contact is getting the message (already sent now). If they don't want to deal with it then they can pass it to the secondary. I will change the terminology on the first page to primary contact.
i would suggest each clan votes for all clans but not for themself. If 21 clans gave 20 or 21 votes, that´s no big difference, and it prevents you from bloody discussions about ranking yourself.

and as such should be respected. you know i have endless respect for you my friend, and IMO, TOFU is big favourite to win this tournament, but i havent listed you as a first. the other thing is that that clan ladder is completely wrong

Well you can win this tournament and then you don't have to worry about what the ladder says.

Okay, it now looks as though the final number of clans participating will be 20.
I have updated the bracket on the second post on the first page to show how the bracket will look according to seeds. Hopefully I have all of the votes in soon and I can update the bracket with exactly which clans will be where. Also, I will have the rules on the progression of matches (sending home games, joining away games, etc) very soon.

You make me laugh. In one breath you say the ladder should be respected, and in the next you say it's completely wrong
I merely said the ladder wasn't an ideal reference for calculating the seedings for a forthcoming knockout tourney as all of its data is based on historical (rather than perceived) ability.
Bjorn Borg would still be on a tennis ladder, but you wouldn't fancy him to win the next French Open.
I still need votes in from TOFU, IA, KORT, ID, LoW, Bretheren of the Fat Mermaid, Eternal Empire, and Legends of the Zone.
Once I get those 8 votes in, I can create the bracket so everyone will know exactly who they are facing and we would be able to get the play-in games started in a few weeks.
I will send a PM to those later as a reminder about the votes that I still don't have.

I wanna peek. How we stand ATM? I was never any good at X-mas anyways

PS. come on cloet, we know ya wanna
I know. Me too. I suck at waiting. Delayed gratification would be so much better if it would just get here sooner.

Don't get to excited Lub.
With everyone not wanting to show favouritism to the organisers, Empire will come in at 17th

This is an exercise in seeding clans according to their perceived performance in an up-and-coming knockout tournament and as such should gauge current ability rather than historic achievement.
LoW - lost 7 members and have just gone down to O & H. TSM - are without Seulessliathan Nemesis - are without HardAttack
You can't tell me this wouldn't impact on a tournament in which there's a maximum quota of games a player can participate in. Strength (and seedings accordingly) should be gauged on the depth of capable players within a clan due to the 15 game max rule, simple as that.
That's how I'm going to structure my list when called to do so anyway.
I disagree. I think trying to guess how a clan will perform today or next week is mostly guess work. A clans record is all that we have that is concrete. Wins and losses can't be taken away. Everyone can argue why they are better or worse now, but we should go off of what is proven. By winning clan wars against top opponents, a clan has earned a high seed.
ps Yes, I know, "we're not in this cup anyway so I should go f*ck myself". Just putting my two cents in because i find this topic interesting. Also don't want those tofu guys thinking that they should be ranked above us Wish we were playing in this. Anyway, good luck in the tourney guys
I wish you guys were in this too, but completely understand why not. No worries though, your opinion is more than welcome here George. It is just a talking topic right now really because I already stated how we were doing seeding when I posted this and I am not going to change it this time around. We are almost done with the voting and I feel we have a fairly accurate representation so far of the clans, hopefully I can get the last few votes in and can show everyone the seeds shortly.

KoTR should be the first clan to post the votes, along with EMPIRE and THOTA...
and not surprised to see TOFU still didnt post their votes, CoF usually replay on PM after 2-3 weeks
That would have been a great idea to assure no foul play. We got ours in right away, and I am happy to post them if anyone would like to see. I'm all for transparency.

Well, maybe I like to do my homework first

nah, people removed their doubts about me long time ago

i dont think anyone would cheat, although it looks like right thing to do and transparency would be bad idea, trust me people here just wait for something to complain about, so lets not give them anything
