The one good thing that comes out of this daykill is that now we got a list of people we know were bandwagoning a proven townie. I wouldn't find it unlikely if there is at least one scum among:

Ok, so that was really stupid. Only someone really stupid (like H2SY - and by the way, that's not really an insult, I'm just going off your day one posts, which I think everyone will agree were rather scatterbrained - but unlikely because of your real-life issues, and good luck again btw) (or maybe colton - who is again is really adding nothing, and in my opinion would not be above doing something dumb and then posting strongly against it after seeing that it failed) or somebody really, really clever, and smarter than his own good - MANDY. Town generally doesn't consider the ramifications of its actions to the the general opinion of themselves. Other people do, obsessively.

My opinion is that safari saw a game of vets, saw colton and from admitted previous playing experience and knowledge of colton's tendency to snap under pressure saw an easy way to get a quick day 1 lynch with minimal discussion or gain for town. Maybe a lyncher, but this seems more likely to me.

First off, the Day kill. IMO, the day killer is almost surely NOT a member of a Mafia or a Cult, because those organizations would be happy to see a guy who is not their member lynched, since that means that none of their number is going to be lynched today. Thus, I conclude that we have either a Day Vig or a Day SK (who, being a solo agent, is as eager to catch other scum as any townie). Either way, as long as you are not a 1-shot Vig, I say good work to your Mysterious Shooter. You have enabled us to lynch another person today, and the more people get killed during the Days, the less powerful Mafia's nightkilling ability becomes. As for the Safari being town, all I can say is that I believed him to be Scum based on his posts. No offense Safari, you seem like a good, active player, but my you turned my Scumdar on with your posts and I voted for you and pushed for your lynch. If there is a flaw in the logic behind my vote, I would appreciate if someone would point it out to me.

Colton isn't posting excessively with nothing to add either which is good, I wonder if he's trying to hide something...

What I thought was odd was his overall actions, him first being less aggressive than normal, then going back to quickly taking on accusations. It is most likely just colton being colton, but I figured it was worth noting.

Whether the cop you kill has claimed or not casts varying degrees of suspicion on motives of the bandwagoners.

I agree with you. About welcoming Gimpy and lamenting the lack of Aussies.

On the other hand, I disagree with your analysis. What you would be true, if this was Day 4 for instance. But, on the Day 1, it would be silly for the daykiller to draw suspicion on himself by asking for a claim who is at -4, when he can simply gambit the probably condemned man (sorry again Safari ) and provide the Town with enough time for a de facto extra lynch.
