I received a 72 hour forum ban for calling him a m**** in the Spamalot thread (pm me for the hardcore version of my incredible, incendiary flame). So when I saw people picking on colton, well, I couldn't resist. Kalish isn't here for me to attack without provocation, reason, or cause, so instead I went with colton as a somewhat suitable replacement.

Anyway, the one I think is suspicious is H2SY. She came across as a total ditz. Either she's some insane roll, clueless, or really is a ditz.

I personally don't feel I pressured colton any more than you all pressured Mandy. But maybe that's just because I played him in that C9 game. I would also remind you that H2SY had much fewer posts, and nobody really caught on that she was indeed scum in that game. With fewer posts, it's easier to avoid dropping scumtells. For all that he his, colton is at least pretty active. Should he really be scum, it would be more likely for him to self-incriminate than H2SY would simply because he would say more in the subsequent days.

But, my sympathies about your daughter. Hope she gets better soon.

So, you think it is a good thing, but you are suspicious of him because of it.

If we add the fact that you were, by your own admission, trying to bait him into overreacting with your first vote, it looks to me like you working real hard to provide the Town with a reason to lynch Colton, not because you think that he is scum, but because you you consider him to be lynchable.

Here's the deal. I know colton to be generally very defensive. Once you pressure him, he starts throwing out the OMGUS and scum bandwagon defenses. Now, if he were to do that this game, I would conclude that I cannot get a read on what he may be because he does that in all the games (wercool really helps in provoking an action). Since he didn't, I was a bit suspicious. Since we all know how active a poster he is, the continued lack of posting and vote changing by him also signals a departure from his normal M.O. Now, this to me means he's being very careful with what he says as he didn't want to draw attention to himself as a bandwagoner or accidentally dropping a scumtell. Or, he could be getting better at mafia and all this is moot. The was I see it, colton is acting differently this game, and I'm noting that as something to follow up on in subsequent days.

Why would you, if you were town, go on an active attack, and straightaway too(!), when either reaction from colton doesn't say anything to you? It's either that or you are trying to go after him, but this has been noticed and you're trying to hide your offensiveness? You're accusing him and then shying away from the accusation or launching a meaningless attack where no reaction proves anything? My bet; neither.

You know him to be very defensive and you spotted him as a weak link. And you trying to trigger his scumminess straight away by putting pressure on him and hoping he cracks and a quick day 1 lynch is done.

Town generally doesn't consider the ramifications of its actions to the the general opinion of themselves. Other people do, obsessively.

My opinion is that safari saw a game of vets, saw colton and from admitted previous playing experience and knowledge of colton's tendency to snap under pressure saw an easy way to get a quick day 1 lynch with minimal discussion or gain for town. Maybe a lyncher, but this seems more likely to me.

So you're leaving your vote on someone who has 5 votes and if I'm not mistake you don't really believe is scum. How would be scummy to unvote someone you believe is town from a bandwagon. Agreed....safari will probably be back and the faster the bodies pile up the faster the new third party will overthrow the rest of us. So, to the trigger happy vig out there if it was you....STOP IT. The last thing we all need is pile of bodies the first 3 days because it will make it harder to weed out scum with third parties growing daily.
