Re: Pick Your Poison (16/16) FULL--Accepting Reserves

Postby Nikita42 on Fri Jan 15, 2010 10:31 am

Updated to here.

We've got 16 players, I'm going to be a reserve but I'm going to start requesting permissions now so we can get this started. I will also be following up on players who didn't provide all required information. I plan to have the games sent out before Monday.

Thanks everyone for joining and good luck to everyone!

Permissions received. I'm currently working on sending out games, but probably won't get them all out today. They should be all out by tomorrow.

First page is updated. Less than 40 games left to finish. And everyone still has a chance to move on.

So there is only one game remaining but the results of that game do not affect who moves on.

There was a tie between b00060 and lurkerleader. Also, the remaining game could give amazzony another point to also tie with the other two. In the event of a tie, the most wins on your own poison is used as the breaker. So, comparing, b00060 won 9 games out of 15 on his poison, lurkerleader won 8 and amazzony if she wins that last game will have 6 out of 15 wins on her own poison. So that allows b00060 the edge he needed to move on.

Great first round everyone, I will work on sending out the new games for Round 2 over the course of today and tomorrow.

There's still 2 games left playing and their outcome can affect who moves on. I will update and get Round 3 games sent out as soon as those games have finished.

Re: Pick Your Poison (FULL) Round 3

Postby Nikita42 on Sat Feb 06, 2010 4:21 pm

All games in Round 2 are now complete.

There was a tie between uckuki and de ross. Comparing wins on their own poison, uckuki had 4 and de ross had 3, so uckuki is the lucky one to move on.

I've updated the first page and will be sending out Round 3 games shortly. Good luck everyone!

Unfortunately, we have one player yet to join his games. :(

I have sent him a reminder PM to join his games. I allowed for 48 hours to join and that time comes up later today. After I get home from work tonight, if he hasn't joined his games, they will be all forfeited. And the remaining three will have to fight for the 2 spots in the finals.

Ok, only one game left to play in round 3. Depending on who wins this could affect who moves on. Once the game is complete, I will update and get the games for the finals set up and ready to send out.

Final game for Round 3 is now complete. Drasill and b00060 are moving on. Finals are 4 games in total (2 on each poison) and I will get those sent out shortly.

Good luck!

So it looks like the games are complete and we have a tie. First attempt to tie break is another round of two games each. I'm a bit overloaded at work right now, so I'm not sure when I will get the next games out. Maybe later tonight or tomorrow. If not then, I will definitely do it on the week-end.

And we have a tie again. Great final round Drasill and b00060. Since the two of you seem deadlocked here, we move onto comparing points over all 4 rounds. Drasill had 33 and b00060 had 32 points. It was very close, but Drasill wins it by a hair!

Congratulations, Drasill!
