change assassin games

Postby joeyjordison on Tue Feb 20, 2007 10:56 am

ok sorry i made a suggestion about this earlier in a mixed thread but this is a single definite suggestion:

allow people to kill anyone in the assassin games. if ur target gets killed then u inherit ur old target's target. would make things a lot more fun and gameplay would flow better i believe.

In order to claim the win, your target should be eliminated by yourself and not by others or just be the last one standing.

Completely agreed, we dont want people who dont read instructions killing someone other than their target and costing people their game

i disagree! the real purpose of the game is killing your target and dont let anybody die first. it changes the whole strategy! now you must also take care that somebody doesn't eliminate his target.

it's quite interresting!

I think that current settings aren'tgood. It should be like the winner is the one who eliminetas his own target and not that you lose if someone else eliminates target and if it so much debate maybe we could have two sorts of assassination games one in which you are obligated to eliminate your target and one in which you can eliminate others also and thier hitmans would just inherit targets of the eliminated one.

I complitly concur with joyjordison he has point here.

I can see what you're saying joey but I'm happy enough with the current settings. Although they are more confusing, they make for more interesting games. Just my opinion.

i see how it can mix things up a bit and make it interesting with current settings but i still don't like it. i like the idea of having 2 types of assassin games tho. hav an absolute assassin game and a hitman game. a hitman isn't gonna b bothered about killing someone else but the absolute assassin will b as the rules are now

If you see someone other than your target in danger of elimination, you should try to protect him.

Yes and that is not point of assassination game. Because as you are assassain you don't bother about killing someone else if it helps you to make hit on your target

Yeah and the rules would apply just as they do on deadbeats.

If your target gets killed and their target is you then surely you inherit yourself as a target?

It's someones fault for eliminating the last person then isn't it

I like the assassin game but it seems very short. Perhaps you could run it like the game Manhunt. You kill your target then inherit their target until the game is over?

Kinda Assassin Terminator - if you get your kill you get double points... if you just kill you get half points? That way you could work round the circle and pick up all the points in the game - or not of course!!
