Some indication of growth and care. If CC is going to make such a big screaming deal about the anniversary, then I'd like to think that a bit more time went into it than registering for a Twitter account. I'm sure that the BR tool you guys have is great and all, but it's the same exact stuff from 2 years ago, let alone last year. The only thing different are those gimmicky nuclear spoils, big deal. I'm sure that people like you who'd never played in a BR before today are having fun, but it would be nice to have something for those of us who aren't addicted to speed doodle games. An Iraq game (with all starting neutrals in place) would have been amazing.jpcloet wrote:SO what do you want then? The games that didn't fill did so because of lack of interest. 2 maps picked had decay so I'm not surprised. I've never played in a BR until today. And I'm thankful for that experience. So what are you looking for then?

I suppose this whole anniversary thing is just CC writ small, so it shouldn't be surprising. It's just kind of sad that something that was once new and fun has become old hat due to neglect.

I think you sorta missed the point: you guys disappointed in a predictable, quotidian fashion, which pretty much makes it par for the course when it comes to management. Any one of the small changes I proposed above would've enhanced the experience quite a bit. But since there's a systemic disregard for easy fixes here, I guess you guys are pumped that the same ole' doodle and classic games keep filling quickly, other considerations be damned. After all, an Arms Race BR, with starting neutrals in place, that would've been lame, no one would've liked that. Or dubs BR, no one could possibly be interested in that.Optimus Prime wrote:Sorry to disappoint in such spectacular fashion then.
Well, let me correct myself then: Sorry to disappoint in such a spectacularly predictable fashion.Incandenza wrote:I think you sorta missed the point: you guys disappointed in a predictable, quotidian fashion, which pretty much makes it par for the course when it comes to management. We tried other maps earlier today and nobody was joining the games. If nobody joins the games there is nothing we can do.happy2seeyou wrote:why not try a larger variety of map and options
