I'm going with the Tigers... They've got great pitching, and a ton of pitching prospects in the minors, enough to swing another trade for a bat, like the did with Sheffield, if it's necessary at the trade deadline.

I think the Met's are going to win it. (2nd favorite team)
Also, the Tiger's have a good chance.

I hope the A's will do well, I'll be back with my prediction, and the Gaint's are not going to win it.

My heart and soul are with the Cubs. I know they will make the playoffs at least (barring another injury filled season). They have a lot of talent, but they havent been able to stay healthy.Derek Lee is an all around player, but was injured for a good part of last year. They picked up Alfonso Soriano, who had 46 homers last year( think of how he will do at Wrigley). They have a very solid veteran bullpen:Bobby Howry, Ryan Dembster, Scott Eyre. Carlos Zambrano will be a Cy Young candidate this year. They have a new manager, Lou Pinella, a proven winner. I think they have a decent shot.

I'm a lifelong Astros fan, so I'll be cheering for them, but if I had to put money on it I'd go with the Tigers...team that should have won it last year PLUS Sheff...

why would i bet against a team who i would vote to go to the world series for the AL? that's just stupid......having balls is the ability to know when to bet, and when not to
