so buy 'killing in the name' to keep it off the #1 spot.

whats the problem with cowell? he shags some top totty, makes a fortune selling crap and is apparently good to his mother.

the young lad is a fellow sand-dancer too. aye, his song will be another poppy pile of poo but it will bring more southerners to mug after closing time, to south shields.

You have a problem if you're basing your life around X-Factor, and buying a song.

Ah well, Porrtsmouth isn't too bad a city - and at least you children fare a much better chance being in a civilised city, rather than being brought up in sand dancer territory, where the average age of speaking their first word is 8.

Hope sunderland get relegated.

I've only visited Portsmouth once when the Navy were holding an all day seminar and open day at their HQ's, but that new building in the docks looks awesome (that is in Pompey right?). Gl with the premiership, I hope you stay up. Hull, Sunderland and Burnley to go down would be my dream.

As has been said before - it's not about Sony at all.

Killing In The Name was written by a band, whereas the x-factor stuff is effectively a return to 1950s-style tin pan alley, ie the entertainment industry decides what music you will like ... so it's more the struggle against musical individuality - which is why the UK is probably the country with the best, most innovative music scene ... well, certainly in Europe and arguably (definitely ;)) the world.

In part because our music culture embraces 'foreign' styles of music, such as RATM (before anyone points out they're not a British band!)

well hello, long time nor se.

i'm afraid your theory about geordie kids seems way off mate. my little girl is proving to be quite a mathmatical wonder. and considering i had to help her mother with her maths whilst she was at uni. i'd put it down to the geordie genes.

my little boy is also quite advanced. he was potty trained before he was two. he did however sometimes like to play with his fecies, but there's always going to be a slight blip considering he's 50% southern.

ps... i quite understand your envy of a big club. did you see pompey at SOL last week? not many pompey fans did, about 80 all told. fucking shit support!!

"Some motherfuckers are always trying to ice skate uphill."

Duane: You know what they say about love and war.
Tim: Yes, one involves a lot of physical and psychological pain, and the other one's war.
