After being relatively active on the forums for about a month, I noticed that Jamie seems to be on the recieving end of a lot of flaming and general hate. My question is, why? I'm not trying to defend him or anything (as I don't even know him), but in a way, you have to sort of feel sorry for the guy for being a victim in what may be a bunch of bullies (and I can relate due to me school life).

So, why is Jamie the most hated guy here on CC?

Frankly, he puts it on himself. I have no sympathy for someone who acts like a tool and knows it.

I can't quite pin it down myself. It is obvious he is bigoted, ill-informed and outspoken, which is quite a combination in itself - but it goes further than that.

He seems to be able to press a wide variety of people's (and my) buttons in a way that I haven't seen on any internet forum for quite a while. I think the "N*****" thread is a good example. Whatever else you say about this bloke, he has a talent for what he does, whether he himself realises this or not.

I do remember seeing that thread before. I also remember him mentioning something about the Middle Earth map resembling the world of Harry Potter (in General Discussion somewhere).

Referring to the Middle Earth thing, you can't really blame him on not exactly knowing where Middle Earth is located. Same thing applies for a few of the other maps as well such as Tamriel. However, it may also be possible that he is a complete idiot as well (not saying that he is, but it's hypothetically possible).

I agree with a lot of whats been said in this thread and i cant actually blame anyone for disliking Jamie but in my valentines thread Jamie was one of the few people who (after a misunderstanding) acted decently.

Most of what Jamies done i dont like and i expect if we met in real life we wouldnt get on. But this isnt real life its a forum and sometimes he pisses me off and sometimes (i expect i will get flamed for this) i respect what he says.

Kinda like me being known as the bitch of CC, when no one thought it til i flamed "the oh so holy clan leader", people just decide whether they like someone or not, and then stick to it no matter what and its pathetic. But I do think most people just enjoy flaming people and keeping things going to piss the other off, when what they dont know is we really dont care.

If we cared, Id stop saying "bitchy" comments or jamie would stop saying "stupid" comments. But no one realizes that you dont know a person just by seeing a few posts from them. to answer your question, whoever posted this. People dont like Jamie because of his "N*" thread and because he hates soccer supposedly. When hes admitted to me that he doesnt hate soccer, it just gets a good debate going. hes not looking for immature teenagers to say "GFY and your bitch wife" blah blah blah, but now we know to pretty much expect it because everyone is so damn uptight. I dont think ive said anything totally "bitchy" since the marvaddin thread, and how long ago was that?

Point is, we dont care. We dont know you, and most of you we dont care to. So whats the point in caring what anyone says on here? If we really cared we'd "cater" to you and stop being whatever it is you think we are being. People dont look at different viewpoints, they just speak what they think, and its quite annoying. Everyone notice that maybe hes joking on the things he says. Sure, I tell him all the time when he does stupid jokes to just go away. I dont say " GFY get away from me your such an asshole" People need to lighten up. Some thinks his post are "brilliant" some hate them. If you hate the posts why click on them. Like whoever right now is choosing to look at this thread because jamies name is in it. If its about us you have to know we most likely will post in it. Maybe you should just stay away from the posts if they irritate you so much and then you wont have anything to bitch about.

Most people would find that funny and joke about it, but people are actually flaming him for it. wow. Should I expect everyone to know who claire is in the diana gabaldon series? Even if i had read the books and watched the movies i still dont think i would of known what that map was. Anyways, im done, enjoy flaming me.

He argued into submission in that topic, and he tried to cover himself up by pulling false information out of his ass, which I poved wrong in about 5 minutes thanks to Google and Wiki. He actually tried to say the Superbowl has as much viewers as the World Cup Final. Pleeeeaseeee. Get real. He hates football, or hes just demented.

Also, to think Middle Earth is in Harry Potter? Where had he been for about the last 5 years. These have been the biggest book and movie series in the 21st century. Unless hes been walking around with a blindfold the whole time, there is no way you can mix them up.

However, I have no problem with either Kayla or Jason... I just think that they are strong enough to take it and smart enough to dish it out... Jason likes to piss people off... Right on... I do too, I just prefer doing it in person, so I don't troll forums...
