Ohio States D looked horrible.. I cant believe Navy was able to make not 1 but multiple drives down the field like that on them to make it a closer game then it should have been..
I might recant my statement about the Buckeyes beating the Trojans next week....
Navy gave Ohio St a run. OK State and UGA at half time score 10-7 Oklahoma, so far a story of good defenses and bad offenses (both qbs probably should have multiple picks right now)

Well a bit sloppy early but OK State played a pretty good game in the long run to win it 24-10. For Georgia, had a strong opening drive both offensively and defensively than kind of faded. I don't think either team's offense played anywhere near their best and I think the defenses got iffy at times but a lot of it was the kind of problems that you see often from teams playing their first game and ones that usually get worked out by the 2nd or 3rd game. Another problem for Georgia was quarterback play from Cox, he's supposedd to be a better decision maker than Stafford and a guy whos a very accurate short to midrange passer but in this game he made a lot of questionable decisions including multiple throws into tight double coverage trying to thread the needle (ones that he didn't seem to be getting the necessary velocity to make) and multiple occassions of not throwing the ball away when he should or simply not securing it as he got sack (leading to a fumble and a drive that led to an OK State touchdown after a personal foul call (a questionable one as from the replays it didn't seem late and there was no helmet contact as far as I could tell) that landed them within the 20, of course I didn't think the refereeing was the best in this game with calls missed on both sides. Now Joe Cox apparently had been suffering from flu-like symptoms so I don't think i can judge him too harshly and it's not like either QB was dead on (Zac Robinson seemed to find his rhythm in the second half but threw numerous bad passes in the first) and each side had receivers drop passes that probably should have been caught (including one or two where the receiver could have potentially broken it for a touchdown).
I guess the short story should be that both defenses looked good overall but the offenses stumbled a bit.

I couldnt agree more. I was displeased with Cox's decision making throughout the game and think the TD pass he had could have been picked off. The fade route before that which was dropped was a hell of a pass though.
The Cowboys sloppy play and penalties should have lost them the game, and while I think we will hear the Bulldog fans complaining the ref's gave the game away with that bad sportsmanship call I dont think it was a deciding factor, seeing as calls were missed on both sides several times throughout the game.
Overall both teams better play better throughout the remainder of their schedules or there in for a long season.

Very true. I think they'll step it up and I'm hoping that Cox was just feeling the effects of the flu. I'd hate to have a QB that does shit like that all season long. Absolutely right about the touchdown pass, could have easily been intercepted. Bright spot for Georgia isthat their offensive line played well and our defense wasn't hugely impressive but played decent football. Bright spot for OK State, their defense seems better than last year.

I was surprised by that Defense.. Should be interesting for the inner conference games, seeing as all Big 12 teams lack on a quality performance D..
Not sure what happened to Braford in the game, but if he will miss considerable amount of time this might just secure an undefeated season for the Horns.. I think the 3 games we truly had to worry about were the Sooners, Cowboys and Baylor.. I think we have the talent over all of those teams, but cant count them out cause of them being rivalries and always being played hard.

I think he's expected back by Texas time.

Yeah I saw the result of the injury as well.. This could pose some upsets, seeing as Oklahoma will now slip in the polls but will play as a top 5 team... Could ruin some NC bids..

I don't see Oklahoma in the championship game. I just can't see them getting past Texas this year. As I remember, Texas has two good DEs and Oklahoma's line is not nearly as good as it was last year (hence how Bradford got injured). That just sounds like a good recipe for Texas.

Jets fans, you should be extremely proud of how your defense played today!
I always enjoy watching Bellychick having to go across the the field to shake the opposing coach's hand even though you can see in his eyes he detests admitting defeat. For those of you who watched the game, you saw how cold he was after the game. No other coach in the NFL makes me sicker than that guy.

HAHA! I know! What a game! I'm so accustomed to the Jets choking in the second half (especially to the team that likes to videotape, i.e. CHEAT, in prepping to play them). Also, yes, seeing Bellychick lose makes for a great day. So much the better that we're having a nice Indian Summer day here on the East Coast, with clear skies. Although I'm always happy when the Jets beat the Bills or the Dolphins, I am most pleased when they beat the Patriots.
That defense is so sick! Rex Ryan is the man! J E T S Jets! Jets! Jets! Whoooooooooooooooo!

That Bears-Steelers game was outstanding. Although I detest the Stillers, anytime I watch one of their games, I'm continuously amazed by the crazy hits. When the Steelers defenders hit people, they hit them hard.
Eagles sucked. My expectations were low going in, were raised substantially by halftime, only to be let down 10 minutes into the 3rd quarter. That is the Philadelphia football fan story in a nutshell.

Should have gone with Kurt Warner.

I've got Drew Brees. He makes me... happy.
If the Cowboys D didn't shit a brick last night, I'd be on easy street. Now I gotta hope Peyton craps the bed in order to pull this week out.
My opponent has Peyton as well, but I have Chris Johnson, so I'm up forty as is, plus I still have Clark to play, who I imagine might get some points out of Manning. I got beasted by Brees last week, but my boys came through this week.
