1 VS. 1 SHOWDOWNS
Winning player
⢠Wins head-to-head in 6 rounds or less = 21 pts. (3 TDs)
⢠Win in 9 rounds or less = 14 pts (2 TDs)
⢠Win head-to-head battle = 7 pts. (TD)
⢠Gain 15 troops in map/card bonuses (owned territories) = 3 pts. (FG)
⢠Prevent opponent from turning in card set = 2 pts. (safety)
Or prevent opponent from conquering territories on more than two turns (for no spoils games)
flex, all this is great, but don't you think that winning the game is the most important? and should receive the most points? sure, give out bonus points for special things players accomplish, but do not make them worth more then winning the game? all players who win in 6 rounds a fewer have monster advantage and will choose smaller maps maybe to achieve this, hmm. up to you.
take the NFL for example
QB brett favre, we loses the game, but throws 400 yards and 6 td's, thats good, but they lost, he should ge ta little credit, however,
QB brett favre WINS the game, throws 313 yards, 3 TD's, well this should be more POINTS, he won, not lost.
what I am suggesting is you make the player that wins should get more points than any bonus points is all.
I propose this,, just a suggestion:

respects, blitzy, just a thought and makes a little more sense, you seem to have it backwards, a win is the most important regardless of how much times it takes, but if they win real quick, award the bonus points, sure. up to you, it's your tourney.
peace
