It's not the namecalling, it's the hypocrisy that's the problem. It's fine to call people stupid, as long as you didn't just get through telling them not to call people stupid.

If i see it, I am not changing anything i do or how i think. Will be happy to shut the birthers up, because they are simply distraced with this issue

no clear pictures yet. i looked at them, they are pictures of pictures from newspaper, pictures of stamp, pictures of his certificate of live birth (with no serial # might i add) they can call me stupid and they do. i let the readers decide. if this is "idiocracy" i will lose, if someone reads it point-counterpoint, shit most responses dont even have anyhting to do with the previous one

From what I've seen they're perfectly clear. A certificate of live birth may not be the same thing as a birth certificate (or it may, I haven't been able to find an answer to that,) but it would not have been issued had Obama not been born in Hawaii. The serial number was blacked out probably to protect privacy, but I don't claim to know what the law is in this situation. Anyway, what difference does it make? If the certificate was forged, how hard would it be to forge the serial number as well?

A certificate of live birth is the technical name for a birth certificate in most states.
I haven't seen any president's birth certificate. I have to assume that the legions of people that dig up every single detail of a person's life would have noticed something so obvious. The birther movement isn't about truth, it's about racism (and I don't throw that word around as liberally as some).
