Well Jimbo, he definitely had his detractors, but you should try to understand the context of the thinking of the times. Perhaps in 40 or 50 years you might get an epiphany on the topic.JJM wrote:Andrew Jackson was very very cruel. No doudt about it he was our worst President. I wish truth is I just don't have any short term memory. So most things slip out via short term and few things make it to long term.autoload wrote:I thought you were joking when you asked that.strike wolf wrote:oh yeah that's right. Early AC/DC was good, so was KISS, Black Sabbath, and Alice Cooper, but there wasn't too much else there.strike wolf wrote:Never said I disliked them (at least I don't think I did) but I prefer 70s music.autoload wrote:I knew you loved the 80's!strike wolf wrote:Except a bug or something that made me spin around right round baby right round like a record baby...

You don't want to Rock n Roll all Nite?strike wolf wrote:kiss sucks period.muy_thaiguy wrote:Early AC/DC was good, so was KISS, Black Sabbath, and Alice Cooper, but there wasn't too much else there.strike wolf wrote:Never said I disliked them (at least I don't think I did) but I prefer 70s music.autoload wrote:I knew you loved the 80's!strike wolf wrote:Except a bug or something that made me spin around right round baby right round like a record baby...
Black Sabbath had most of their great music in the 70s, AC/DC was great in the 70s. the Who, Pink Floyd, Led Zep, Rolling Stones, Lynard SKynard, Queen, Thin Lizzy. And that's just the short list.
OK, that song totally sucks. The line "I wanna rock and roll all nite and party every day" is over half the song. KISS was a bunch of no talent shock performers.muy_thaiguy wrote:You don't want to Rock n Roll all Nite?
Well, "Thunderstruck" makes up about 3/4 of the song by the same name. But I have to give KISS more credit then what I see on America's Got Talent and American Idol in the tryouts. Especially the choir director, who sang "Over the Rainbow." He sounded more like the Wicked Witch of the West then the Wicked Witch of the West.autoload wrote:OK, that song totally sucks. Even the winners. I change the station every time I hear Carrie Underwood and it's not because I don't like country, because I do.muy_thaiguy wrote:But I have to give KISS more credit then what I see on America's Got Talent and American Idol in the tryouts.
