It would be nice to see a boat or some ducks in the lake in the middle of the map - I love stupid little details like that ;-)

I'd still like to see the legend at the top, so as to prevent scrolling the map necessarily. It's not a major thing, but is one of the stupid things that bugs me

Speaking of the legend (and on a more serious note), the text looks blurry on the small map, and the castle-bombard rule is unclear - it sounds like the castles can bombard ANY non-adjacent territory..

Where you've got Villages on the legend, you could put that in gold to cross-reference that the villages are gold, and the castles are silver. You could also reflect the same colours on the minimap??

It would be nice to see some more consistency in the placement of territory labels/numbers. You've also used different font sizes for some areas?

The final thing is that I'm not a big fan of the glow you've used to mark the borders of different regions. This is only a personal preference, but I think I'd prefer a thicker line?

While you get those things done, I'll see if I can find some ink for a stamp ;-)

Benn - actually I know a number of people who hate the legend on the top - because once they've read it - they don't want to scroll past it EVERY SINGLE TURN

That's not the point … it's 70 pixels of scroll space wasted.

Heaven forbid that extra 70px which approximates to about 0.000001 of a second to hold the stroll bar longer or the extra one roll clock on a mouse scroll button.

If people are seriously going to complain about needed to scroll I think they need to do something better than sit on the internet. The legends will be staying at the bottom because:

1. 70px is not alot of space to take up.
2. To redraw the top of the map to make the transparent legends work is more work that the results it will produce.

No, it's that to see where your going, you have to scroll through the 70px (on the large) that you've already read and after a while of playing Feudal memorized. On the top, you scroll past it once to get to the map and dropdowns, while here every single time you look at the log, game chat, or dropdowns, you have to go past it. When it's at the top you can position it on your screen so most things show up while the key is cut at the top, but at the bottom that's not possible.

P.S. (fastpost): I'm not saying that it should be done, but arguing that it's easier, which is what C. is saying (it's easier on the top)

Not me, but for BOB (though I don't use it), log, Assault Odds (etc. to the add-ons), and game chat … point is still moot it's more work this late on, and let the bickering stop…

^^ What he said.

I'd prefer it at the top, but that's all it is, personal preference ;-)

(ie. I'm not suggesting that it should be moved)

Since when was including coodinates part of the graphics stamp? It is a load of work to put them on the image when they can be checked once the XML is complete. 2 birds with one stone.

I may have just been having a senior moment??

It looks like there might be some issues with three digit numbers, but it's ready for the next stage.
