Not suicide:)
The Russians lined up 100's of people after they took Berlin and crushed them with tanks on the streets (so said my grandfather - he actually travelleled to Yalta, the Big 3 Conference - he was winnies' car mechanic - R.E - would have been a very sweet war time # - I have all of his stuff too, he left it to me

Myself, I was at Bagram, I saw people buried alive, (true they were the "enemy"), Tajiks running amok, (Massouds' men - i can understand why he was assassinated) they loaded up prisoners into freight containers , dug a trench with a bulldozer, then pushed the containers in and covered them. I, myself, was sick. We were powerless, we couldn't stop it, would have been suicide to try to, (and to tell you the truth i'm not sure even today if I really wanted to) if the yanks could have bombed that lot there and then, I think I might have walked away a better man.
