Right now, I don't find Suspect all that scummy. I'm actually glad he's not doing what he usually does: taking over the thread with a pointless argument that goes nowhere and diverts the town's attention away from lynching the scum.

This is a lame reson for voting for me, especially since there was 45 minutes between when he posted and when I replied. It was simple timing of that I was on and able to reply. You are trying to use the fuel that SV stated and trying to make a run at getting me lynched.

It is suspicious when somebody replies immediately to an accusation of lurking, but with 45 minutes in between the two posts, it isn't very suspicious in this case, unless Suspect purposefully waited 45 minutes before posting, which I doubt.

The people voting for suspect strike me as the scummy ones, it seems an obvious conspiracy to deprive us of our rights.
capt. walrus might be a townie =, just an incompetent one, but I know stroop isn't.
Falko could also plead incompetence, but I'm a little more doubtful there.
Stroop can't.

FOS Stroop

By FoSing and not voting, you are trying to influence the town without having the guts to do the dirty work yourself. It is good to apply pressure by voting, because this forces whoever it is you are voting for to defend himself more than if you just FoS them. Even if you don't have much evidence, by pressuring, you will create more discussion, which is good for the town. Unvote, Vote: Simon Viavant.

Yes Simon, why a FoS and not a vote?
Simon Viavant wrote:Because I didn't have that much evidence against him.

It's page 4 and day 1. How much "evidence" do you want? I don't think you were looking for evidence. I think you were looking for someone else to actually start a bandwagon.

Suspect101 wrote:Interesting. The case against me is that I have not been active. I admitted I have not been active and gave ample reason for being so.

The case against you is lurking and telling us that you'll continue to lurk to allow others to take the stage, practically ensuring that you won't say something stupid and get lynched over it.

Stroop wrote:Votes don't have to lead to a lynch. They are a way to apply pressure and gather information. Suspect shouldn't get away with staying silent, so in this case my vote is a reminder that he can't.

So, to be clear, I do not want to lynch Suspect... yet.

Both of these points make a lot of sense to me now, but I don't like to vote willy nilly. I guess my fear is that I would vote for someone to put pressure on them, and then a bunch of other people would vote for that person while I was away causing a lynch before I expected it. :-k

Then again, we need 6 votes to lynch and we haven't been anywhere near that so it seems to be a non-threat for this round.

Vote stroop for being very persuasive thus far. He managed to vote for suspect and gather support, and then started to convince me it was okay ;)

No I used that argument before you accused me, you know, in my response to SV, where you got your original information from to accuse me with. To do so now would be redundant and silly.

Another thing I notice about some players is when they relentlessly try to go after one person, they too are scum.

I believe that with your current actions, you are scum, but I still want to hear from the real lurker, Captian Walrus, about me accusing him before I change my vote. I think I may have at least two of you scum in my sights.

Still here, just got a friendly little PM from PMC 8-[ . Changed positions at work this past week, and the new schedule really limited my online time, so sorry for that. When reading through everything, I've just got one question. What is FOS? I didn't hear that term in the other two games I played. Also, since I don't really have any basis for my vote and was just messing around when I voted for Mr. S, I'm go ing to unvote and wait until there is someone I feel may be scum instead of voting for no reason (although it is day one).

Finger of Suspicion. It means you are watching them but are not putting a vote on them yet or your vote is currently on someone else scummier.

 That's not very helpful. Maybe its because I'm too cautious and don't vote randomly, but this seems like REALLY poor form. What can we gather from random unsupported votes? Accusing a person and voting for them makes sense because if you back them into the corner they have to speak and might reveal something stupid. Voting and saying you don't know why means Penguin can dismiss your comment quite easily because it carries no weight. :?

Stroop and CW are most certainly scum. After I called both of them out they have both disappeared. Captian has only two post all game and has no even bothered to answer the accusations against him. This bandwagon on me is stunnly scummy and no one else is catching on to it. If I get lynched please head my warnings and lynch at least these two players.

Damn, you are right. Actually one post was just confirming so I'd say he has only one real post. Here are captain's contributions to the thread so far.

captain, start talking or I will definitely vote for you. You accuse someone of being suspicious for not voting (and yes I liked your logic) but now you haven't posted in almost 3 days. [-X

It's not my fault. This game is a lot more active than other ones. Before I could get by if I was busy and missed a day. I'll try to make more time.

Well, Suspect and Sully seem a little too close, and It seems that sully follows suspect, but that is just the impression I got from semi-reading the last 2 pages.

I don't like to post too much, I find that I get sucked into bandwagons unless I can step back and think things over.

I often think that the first day is wasted, like my vote is really just as much random voting as an actual suspicion of you.

I dunno about stroop, he hasn't seemed that scummy I guess.

Disappeared? I posted yesterday.

Maybe because it's not that scummy? It's a day one bandwagon, someone needs to be the target...

unvote - the case against Suspect was never strong and there's more to look at now. Will post more thoughts later (tomorrow if that's not considered disappearing).

I wouldn't worry about posting too much captain, that is your second post other than checking in for the 5 pages of this thread.

Your previous post was a mafia accusation against someone for not talking until after they were called it, which is exactly what you just did in almost exactly the same timing

Start talking more or you are no help (which means you are probably concealing something)

It helps if you share your thoughts every once in a while. You don't have to jump on every bandwagon you see, but the more players we have actively discussing, the better chance we have of catching the scum. :D :D :D :D :D
