How do I get to the sanctuary? When I attacked from a port, all it did was "bombard", what's that?

Wrong forum mate.
Go via U'rl. Blood water terits can only be attacked from the Sanctuary itself. If someone has occupied the blood water terits, then you can bombard and annhiallate their armies, so they turn into neutral territories.

never played that map, but I believe all docks connect? So just get to a dock and you can attack the island dock and can proceed to the Sanctuary, right?
I don't know if I am right but that is what it seems from reading the map instructions...

If you want to attack the Sanctuary, you have to attack U'rl. Ur'l is a port, Al'b Fo'l GImi'l and the other blood water terits aren't ports.
If you attack Ur'l, you have access to attack the Sanctuary, and to attack the other terits bordering the sanctuary

Not Ur'l. When you attack from the other ports (Aosa, Voigth, Sler, etc.) to the blood water terits, all it did was it bombarded, yes.
But to get in to attack Sanctuary itself, you have to attack U'rl, and U'rl only.
If this is not helpful, try to explain more on what you're doing.
And read the rules on the side of the map as well, if it helps.
