yeah we had this debate a few pages back. I was vetoed for saying the same sort of thing.

again, you guys just dont get it, do you? seriously, i dont think you all can be this dumb, but let me try this again to keep it simple, sighs


I only did the 1st 5 players in each bracket, as you scroll down you all can see i was way over 4000 score and had 30 plus medals, this was back in 2008 around sept to dec, somewhere in there, maybe jan 2009


now with that said, you are correct that I never got 78 medals with over 3500 score, but I did not need to, as long as I had 3500 score when I got 30 medals, now this is the case. It does not matter now, I am grandfathered in as it is highest score within medal brackets, look below for example.


finally, for last example and to ensure all is crystal clear, you can all see lt. pie has like has like a 1700 score or so, and he just posted he has 35 medals, but if you notice below lt.pie already way back, months ago had 3500 score with 30 medals, thats all he needed, his score can drop all the way to 1000 now and have 50 medals (for example) he still will show score of 3726 and 35 medals, even though he does not have that score on his 35th medal, but what he did do is get that score with a minimum of 30 medals at some point, once he did, he is grandfathered in.
Username: lt.pie Rank: Lieutenant Lieutenant Score: 1797 35 medals however, he had 30 medals which is a new bracket and he had 30 medals with 3500 score about 2 months ago (this is all you needed, 3500 and 30 medals at the same time once-if so, you are in that bracket, as you see only 4 have ever did that.) you dont need it now, you already did it, but medals continue to roll, you add them. this is why you do not see me on the highest medal + score bracket, why? cause it says 4000 score + 40 medals, now, although I have done both before, I never did both at same time, once or if I do, then I would go to that bracket, but I will never go to higher bracket until I hit 4000 score again.

on page 20 in this thread November 18th, look at it NAGEROUS: blitzaholic 30 medals then, next time nagerous, check the facts, I have 30 medals plus in november 2008, and over 3700 score, no one else did, I was way ahead of everyone, and as you can see ballooned to 78 and almost 80 now with updates coming, and they are also late weeks before you get them too

me and dbz were 15 and 16th on scoreboard and went to 3800 plus score, then over 4300 again, read the facts and come the end of summer of 2009, someone else may say something like this, no way anyone could of had 80 medals in may 2009, not possible, and i would say you are right, no one else did, but I did, again look at it:

I want to acknowledge what most of us already knew about Blitz....Not withstanding the fact that he's one of the top 3 CC players, He's also a a man with a great heart and respect for the game. He has taken me under his wing and taught me quite a bit. I just want to say 'THANKS' for your time and hope to continue learning from one of the best ! I salute you for being so humble.

thank you very much scott, all time high score for each bracket, 20 medals is a new bracket, so your highest score once you get 20 medals, then when you hit 25 medals it is your highest score in the 25 medal bracket.


example if you had 5522 score with 18 medals, then get 20 medals but you do it with a score of 3002, you are at 3002 with 20 medals because that is your highest score ever in the 20-24 medal bracket range, however, if you jump up to 4010 score and have 23 medals, your new high will be 4010 and 23 medals, then when you get 25 medals, notice 25 medals is a new bracket, I record your all time high score in the new 25 bracket range and your 20-24 medal bracket high score gets locked and sealed in forever. so scott if your score drops to 2500 and you got 24 medals, then you still would be locked in at 3459 score with 24 medals, why? cause your highest score was at 3459 while you were in the 20 bracket range.

another example:
Players to 4000 score and 30 medals

1. Blitzaholic 4272 score + 78 medals
2. King Herpes 5719 score + 31 medals


notice i never got 78 medals, obviously when I was over 4000, but I was at over 4000 score and had 31 medals at the time, that gets sealed in, now i got 2300 score and 78 medals, but my all time high score of 4272 gets locked in, the 31 medals now jumps to 78, even though my score is 2000 less, but the reason being is the fact that i did reach 4000 score while having 30 medals, once you do and in that bracket, it can never go down, always up once you get higher score or more medals. sorry if confusing


or notice this one:
Players to 3500 score and 30 medals

1. Blitzaholic 3808 score + 72 medals
2. Lt. Pie 3726 score + 35 medals
3. King Herpes 6108 score + 30 medals

lt. pie is at currently 1702 score and has 35 medals, however he was at 3726 score with 30 medals over a month ago, so he got locked in at 3726 and 30 medals, highest ever score within that bracket range of 30 medals plus, now he has 35 medals and even though he got 35 medals with a 1700 score, he already shown and demonstrated he once hit 3726 score with 30 medals, so dont matter if his score now is 1700 and reaches 35 medals, it will simply translate 3726 score + 35 medals


finally notice this one for example

why does it say none?? didnt blitz have over 4000 score and he has way over 70 medals, why doesnt he fit in this bracket?

the reason why is because when I hit my 40th medal, my score was in the 3000 range and does not fit, I need to have had a score of 4000 plus and 40 medals at least one time at the SAME time, if I did, i would be locked in there regardless of my score and medals now, but I never did, the sad fact is i think i was around 3900 score and 39 medals and then my score dropped like a ton of bricks and my medals shot up to the moon, so bitter sweet

and I think way way back when i started this it was scott-land who came up with the highest score, or all time highest score and I agreed with it, but i tweaked it with bracket increments.

if any player ever got 4000 score or higher, that is simply amazing as less than a dozen have ever done so in cc history out of the 350,000 or more that traveled thru here, and if a player ever has got 75 plus medals, well, that is simply amazing, and only 1 player ever has done that, but the simple fact if any player ever gets both ever at any time simultaneously, well, it is simply just out of this world and that player is way ahead of all players on CC (they are ahead of their time sort of speak is what i mean), and the brackets I have outlined on page 1 try to show and demonstrate players with skilled versatility who excel at many playing styles and that are well rounded, of course when you do this, you gain in medals but drop in score, makes this very challenging. As the brackets go up on page 1, it certainly shows that the higher the bracket, less the players, in each higher bracket the players become more scarce, and that's the way it should be, again on page 1, it says this is just the authors opinion, but I have had dozens and dozens of pm's with many enjoying it and giving them all something to shoot for. some are shooting for it and some are not, but I certainly respect all the players on here and on these lists (any list on page 1) and if you scroll thru the names, many of them are very solid players in a variety of aspects.

who could maintain a score and get those medals. AKA what herpes did. He got all 27 and kept his 5500+ score. A rare feet indeed. To the people who know you would know that you were at 4000+ at one point, but also would know you never had 78 medals while there. To the casual user (which there are far more of) would have no clue you were never 4000+ with 78 medals.

now, we both reached this bracket with those parameters as you see only 31 medals, but it is within the bracket, once you get into that bracket, it is sealed!!! and it does say all time high score and all time most medals.


Players to 4000 score and 40 medals the next one is this

none and reason it says none is because my score was 3900 and change when I had 39 medals, when I reached my 40th medal or so my score was dropping like rain and going down to around 3100, I never was able to maintain score of 4000 with 40 plus medals, this is why I am not on that list. A player must have to do both simultaneously at least at one point, if so, that is an incredible feat and gets sealed in, but they can NOT go up another bracket, until they have the higher marks both at the same time again.
