I have only had one night to investigate and came up empty. RK is the Vig. I investigated him to be sure he was telling the truth. Before my deputy died he investigated wicked and she was pure vanilla.

wow, there are so many things wrong with that statement.

1. Not just two cops, but mason cops? likelihood of that in 12-player game? very low Chances of the deputy not being a locked role? also very low

2. Fircoal would not have been able to investigate if he was killed.

3. Finding out RK is the vig, as you claim, is not "coming up empty."

4. BTW, I announced I was vanilla (well actually cram did), so since you're most likely mafia, you'd know I was telling the truth.

well argued. i had totally overlooked the "deputy investigating" thing. deputies shouldn't become active until the cop is dead, no?

I think so.. until we get the death scene.. what are the scenarios. if he is who he claims he is where does this leave us? if he is not, then this puts in suspicion everhhing he said.. so where does this leave his "investigations" on wicked and RK? Or are those unrelated events?

I was actually going back and rereading some of senfive's posts...

There are a few disquieting things, but since they bear more on the potential guilt of others than of sen, let's just put those aside for another day.

To this point, I haven't heard any compelling evidence that he ISN'T mafia. I'm a little fuzzy on the precise mechanics of the power townie roles (mostly because there are so many damn variants of this game that it's hard to pin down exactly how some of this stuff works), but his 'I'm a cop' defense was waaaay too unsubtle for it to be believable.
