Bush is a Republican, and most notably from Texas, so believe you me, that dumb redneck doesn't represent American society and values at all. I'm a US citizen born and raised, and proud to be so, but that stupid warmonger isn't my president. Everybody knows Gore should have won that election, and if he had, we wouldn't be in this mess.

He MAY be all those things.
But he's better than ANYONE running any Muslim country - which are not known for their "accepting" attitudes, intellectualism, pluralism or modern thinking.

i am a muslim from Turkiye and i would like to speak about ur observations. I think most of them r right. When we look generally muslim countries haven't devoloped as the other modern countries. And yes generally muslim people use violence aobut their religous ideas. We can give mahy more examples. But ur conclusions are very wrong. U cannot compare bush with the Muslim leadres. In the history and now there r so many great Muslim leaders, the first example can be Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. He is a muslim but he is alos the man of the 20th century, it is not something i am saying, this is ur country's choise. There r so many more modern muslim people. If u ever come to Turkiye u can c so succesful universities, multi-national companies, wolrd leading business man, succesful scineticiens. And our common problem is also FANATIC MUSLIMS, not muslims. Islamic is a religoun very open to become a fanatic, so does Catholism. But Catholism made its renaissance and there r no more so many fanatics. The problem of Islamic countries is not making the renaissance yet. And also i am sure u never c Turkiye or some other countries and u cant know how beatiful and modern they r. I totally understand the image u have but trust me it is just beouse of the media. So i think it is better to not talk about those countries u have never been, especially using like shit hole 20 times better etc. U never know which country is better to live. Of course tecnologically and about human right for example Turkiye is maybe 10 years back from us. But when u look us people, u can c some many lonely,weird disposed, pliable pople who became slaves of capitalism. I am not saying all americans but when u look to the propotions i am sure us citizens will lead. and pls dont forget that the usa is the only country in the world who is strating wars all over the world. U r talkin about Somali, us is fighting there. U r talking about muslims, afgahnasitan and iraq is conquered by usa. and us killing so many innocent citizens. I dont know what ur concience says but i would never want to share my country's war responsibilites just becouse of gasoline. and be sure the most harmful human right breach is killing so many innoecnet people just becouse of money, which ur country is doing...i prefer to be Muslim then to be direcetd by the devil Bush
