Today's movie scene is one of my personal favorites. In honor of it's great lines I have nicknamed it "Huckleberry". That's right it's from Tombstone. It takes place right after the big gunfight early in the movie and deals with Doc Holiday challenging Ringo to a duel.

strike wolf wrote:wrong target. Star Wars is awesome.
worst acting an any film
Which is another reason it's great.
so you like movies with bad acting?
No. Just this movie with bad acting. Besides judging a movie based on acting only carries a little more weight than judging it by its special effects. Translation. Acting is the second worst way to judge if a movie's good or bad.

Go to the nearest movie rental place and buy it on DVD. Trust me you won't regret it.

Today's book is The Appeal by Grisham. I haven't read it yet myself but I do know a few people who have (or have at least started it) and all of them have loved it. It's also the book I got my mom for Christmas (Grisham and Crichton(sp?) are her favorite authors).

We're having a fine Xmas in the curl household. The curlette got the latest "Now That's What I Call Music" CD, and I have to say I don't. The idea's been around longer in the UK, where they must be up to nearly no 70 by now (it's only no 29 here). n fact they've been around so long, Mrs Curl bought the first 6 or 7, and consoder them as being from her era.

What we need is less "Now that's What I Call Music" and more cowbells.

In other news, I got in a fight with a pit bull today. It's my neighbor's dog. Apparently it got off the chain and came running at me. It's a somewhat small pit bull so it wasn't as hard to fight as it could have been, though I still got quite a few scratches from it.

Nasty. I still got scars from about two years ago where a nondescript but vicious dog bit the back of my legs. I think it was trying to hamstring me. It was chained up, but the chain was long enough for it to reach the sidewalk.
