Looking for a mentor. I have been around 1900-1985 for a month, then got in a bad luck streak 2 days ago... 369 points... Anyways, any map, any settings will be fine, as long as it is not too luck based. (doodle). No freestyle.

Looking for low - mid ranked, premium players with potential who want to learn team games.

Players who use some kind of instant messenger and who don't mind being bossed around a bit are preferred :).

jeez thats a lot of replys... i would say that im pretty decent in risk i can see enemy tactics usually from a mile away, but im really lacking in the strategy and psychological aspect, recovering from a continent steal, developing a continent, holding a continent, developing with little to develop with, usually i do poor in 2player and 6+ player games and i excel in assasin games. overall id say im about level 3 on the mentoree scale but need to learn some stuff about strategy and recovery and i usually dont do so great in team games eithr...

well, a start is to stop missing turns:

GrimReaper 79% of turns taken

that will help you keep points...-0

I'd like some help and would appreciate some advice from a mentor. I am interested in learning how to play freestyle, so I can play the "big boards" vs. the "bigger ranks." (ie City Mogul, etc.) This would make me a "4" because I am mainly looking for freestyle advice. (I have played freestyle before...but not very effectively.)

Thanks much!

Hiya guys, I feel like I am at the stage now where I can offer my help. I suppose I would say that my experties are probably in esc games both freestyle and sequential. However I am good at basic strategy in general. I'm an exellent dubs player aswell and although there are still areas I am learning such as trips and quads I really think I could help.

There are certain maps I dont play and have no desire to play e.g waterloo however I will let you know in advance

It'd also be nice to mentor someone who is fairly active and who has msn as its a great place to really chat.

I should also mention aswell that CC really IS what I want to chat about so if anyone decides there gonna start asking me my bra size or if I am horny then I will politely decline and block and foe you.

As a Mentoree – level 4
As a Mentor – level 2

I arrived here just under a month ago. I shot to Sergeant 1st Class and was topping 1600 points.
However I then bought Premium Membership and went mad (joining to many games at once). I think I’ve taken my eye off the ball, because I now find I have slipped to 1350 points in a week.

I play mostly Standard/Terminator– Sequential– No Spoils– Unlimited– traditional type maps.

I can offer a few pointers to anybody new (taking the load off of the more experienced players).

From experienced players I would appreciate:
• advice on how to maintain/improve my stats.
• Somebody to take me on as a doubles partner and give in-game coaching
• Advice on etiquette

I'm looking for a mentor... I'll rate at 3. I think my main problem is not fully understanding the maps and how to play them effectively. I'll pm someone later on today if i don't hear back.
