Thanks for the sig praise Prank ;)

As for E-Tickets, I've filled out 3 or 4 and I've gotten very prompt responses. It really depends on the type of E-Ticket though. E-Tickets around blocks etc. should take longer.

Now owen, don't be rude...
300 was nice enough to send me an engraved invitation,

Proper etiquette compels me to reply with a handwritten response to indicate acceptance or regrets... and, assuming that 300 now has enough regrets for the lot of us, it would only be fitting for me to accept his gracious invitation.

Maybe this will become the perfect E-ticket event of the year...

Filled one out for this yet??

Alright guys, here's what I've got for ya.

Those in charge of e-tickets have assured me that every ticket sent is responded to as long as it's not a duplicate ticket. If they have already answered you once, they usually close it instead of reiterate what they already said.

Hope that helps some. If you need anything else, let me know.

My e-Tickets

Post by 300spartans »

I opened the e-ticket to try to understand how I got on the block list. I fully explained how I was falsely accused there. The response I received in no way can be considered an answer. It was a stall or an easy way out. If I can't get my answer though an e-ticket then how? I would like to know why I am on the block in detail and how in the world you can prove that max took a single turn me? I don't want to be ignored. Can I talk to one of the persons that is still dealing with this case through chat or email?

lancehoch wrote:...a mod may post all of the results...

Would a mod please post the results to each specific case? Not a single innocent person on the block list knows why they are on it. There are several people on the list that max has only took one turn or zero turns for.

etickets are simply a waste

the replies you get from them don't ever explain anything, i only ever use them for usergroup stuff

that block will never be changed cause the mods are too stubborn, so i wouldnt even bother

its not fair, but thats the way it goes here

Honestly i feel cheated...

I filled out an e-ticket weeks ago and never got a response... just more e-mails saying i was blocked from playing games with even more players...

Now I can't play games with some of the people who taught me the most, or are my best friends on here. The site has sort've become dead to me, and even though lack made a list of people wrongly accused, we are still blocked and can't play games, and still no mod has come forth with a valid reason as to why.

The way it's being handled is abismal, and I think they need to just stop what they're doing, deal with this problem, and move on to the next instead of trying to bury this and hope we forget...

For what it's worth. I'm currently volunteering my time as a moderator. Whilst I know what an e-ticket is I have never seen one in my role as moderator. As a regular member I have never sent one. So my knowledge of e-tickets is minimal.

My point is this - I'm not being stubborn! And I'm not choosing to ignore e-tickets.

As far as I know most/all of the other moderators do not deal with e-tickets as part of their moderator role either, but I am ready to be corrected on that.

It is my understanding that e-tickets are dealt with by administrators. So if we're going to persist with this trend of posting here in General Negative Criticism/Discussion can we at least aim our negative criticism in vaguely the right direction?

Something I personally never realized is that all e-tickets are responded to your e-mail. For the longest time I thought they were being ignored until I checked my e-mail to find them all responded to. Just in case this happened to anyone else^^.

Thats fast. The shortest time I have had a reply is about a week. What annoyed me most about the e-ticket service is that they would close tickets that are not resolved.
Since the last time they did this have have not bothered with the service.

I have asked the relevant administrators and have the following information:

Straightforward e-tickets are usually responded to within 24 hours if sent Sunday through Thursday. If sent Friday or Saturday then a response will usually take an additional 24 or 48 hours respectively.

However non-straightforward e-tickets, for example those relating to busts/blocks/appeals, almost always take longer since they involve liaison between multiple administrators. In such circumstances response times of over a week are not uncommon. Thorough investigation and internal communication ensures the best response albeit with a wait.

It is important to note that duplicate e-tickets or those repeatedly re-raising the same questions may receive a basic template response or in some cases no response.

The above information is a general guide and cannot be used to prove that any given ticket has been ignored or delayed.

Key point is "usually"?

I just submitted a straight-forward e-ticket. I'll post here when it's been addressed.

All my tickets have been dealt with within the time lines described above in the response by cicero.
