You mean people had to stop forum posting for a whole 3 days and go have lives? THE HORROR!!!!!

Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday that's a give or take 4-5 days. not a timely manner at all for a supposedly easy task of moving people from guests to registered... not to mention the fact that he tried to pave this problem over as if nothing had happened.
I'm not saying that compensation or an apology won't be given (and I'm not saying that it will...I honestly have no clue either way). However, lack does have a personal life as well and I would take Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off your list of days because the upper management/owners of all the businesses I've ever known don't work weekends (and it happened late Friday night after "normal" business hours).

He is a small business owner of a Internet game site, not the CEO of IBM, he probably works in a office on his house and manages his own work schedule so you really can't say he just kicks it and lays back on the weekend especially when he knew there was a problem with his Site/Business and if you asked me he should probably work during the weekend since its when CC is most busy. have ever been to a barber shop on a week day? the business hours is much shorter and there's probably only one barber in the whole shop, on the other hand when you go to a barber shop on the weekend there's probably a big line of clients and several barbers cutting hair all day probably for the whole day because that's when people have time to cut hair, the same principle applies to conquer club. if lack is kicking back on the weekends even though he knows there's a problem on his site and even though its the busiest time of the week for CC. then he should probably manage his schedule and his priorities before he manages this site.
*One last Note* I'm sure He accepts money on weekends so there's really no excuse why he shouldn't be available to get things fixed and give us some good customer service during weekends.

I got to give it up for you guys allowing me to speak my mind. I'm surprised a mod hasn't locked this thread, modified my posts and given me a forum ban. I just hope this lasts.
And I agree that the weekends are busy, but weekdays are pretty busy too (I'd be interested to see stats on logins for which days are the highest...). But as for your barber shop scenario, and it could be different b/c my sister is a beautician not a barber, but she only works every other Saturday because her weekends are slower than her weekdays

The games servers to keep this site up are probable eating at his walet and i dont think he just kicks it. For all you know he has a day job too. A server to host a site with this many people on it probly cost over 1000 a month and maybe more.

And the end of last year, I believe it was Mondays (maybe Thursdays) that set the record for most users several weeks in a row. The weekends are incredibly slower than the weekdays if you gauge it by forum posts and chat users.
And no krusher, as long as you aren't flaming the mods/admins while you're complaining, then it's perfectly legitimate.

I guess I don't see why they feel they are entitled to reimbursement of any kind.

However, when t-o-m was forum banned he lost his game playing abilities. Using that logic they should be reimbursed.
There are some misunderstandings, so let me clarify what happened:
Last Friday 14 premium members and 5 freemiums were incorrectly busted as multis (the other names in the email posted by gameplayer were actual multis). The premium memberships were restored 19 hours later. Forum priviledges were restored to all 19 members 3 days later.
After spending a lot of time figuring out what happened, it turned out there was not a bug in the software, and Fireside Poet clicked the wrong button. But he shouldn't be faulted - it turns out he was not properly trained in the nuances of the MH Tool and I'll take responsibility for that (please don't resign FP - we need you to keep CC clean!!!).
I didn't reverse forum bans at the same time that I restored premium because I simply forgot that these people were also forum banned. Then I was busy in real life and Monday morning I was swamped with all sorts of things to take care of.
I have extended the premium memberships of those 14 members by 1 week to compensate for their completely accidental bust.
I have apologized both privately and in this topic - and I am truly sorry for this. I don't want to make a sitewide announcement because even though this was very unfair and very annoying for the 19 involved I don't think it is relevant or newsworthy for the other 22856 active members of Conquer Club. I am very careful to keep sitewide announcements to a minimum and I think our membership appeciates that.
Since this topic is where the 19 names were published, to make sure that their reputations are not tarnished, let me be very clear...
The following people should NOT have been busted as multis last Friday:

They paid for a service .That service was interupted . I think you know where this is going so I won't go into to deeply .I like FP so I'll leave it at that .

I was one of these falsely busted and raised hell while my priveledges were gone, however that is me just being myself.Lack sent a personal message to myself saying he was sorry and that was enough for me he runs a great site for cheap if your a paying customer.I thank you Sir for your added week.

The service they pay for:
* Play UNLIMITED simultaneous games * Play thrilling real-time SPEED games * Create password-protected PRIVATE games (which Free members may join, too) * Have a GOLDEN rank icon display next to your name * Feel that WARM and FUZZY feeling you get from supporting a website that you love
They lost forum use; therefore, they lost nothing they pay for.
@The1exile; it was explained already; if they're not on the list, CC has evidence that they're a multi.

No, they lost everything. They were (incorrectly) busted for multiple accounts and therefore they lost their premium and everything else on that list of things they paid to be able to do.
In heaven... Everything is fine, in heaven... Everything is fine, in heaven... Everything is fine... You got your things, and I've got mine.
