A red one that says "Daemonen". For those who don't speak Danish or any other language with that word, it means "demon".

Another present today, from Mrs Curl - a "Cheers" t-shirt, a souvenir froma business trip to Boston.
Yesterday was another alcohol-related present - my friend bought me a t from the 2001 Weatherspoon "Legendary Beer Festival", party because I like beer, and partly because the image is an Excalibur stuck , not in a stone, but a pint. (And because I'm well-known for being a fan of the Arthurian mythos)

Seattle, actually. From a really terrible restaurant, too. But the shirt is great.

Or any other restaurant that serves crabs and sells t-shirts. It's so common I wonder if there's a law stipulating that restaurants that serve crab must allow guests to advertise that they got crabs there.

Underneath the button down, today, I wore another favorite t-shirt, that I improved.

It says "Wachovia Bank" in big letters.

Beneath that I wrote, in black Sharpie, "Making your dreams come true, one overdraft fee at a time."

It's an awesome t-shirt.

Right now I'm wearing a designy tree/music shirt that I think is more indie than emo. Normally I like to be a billboard of things that I like, suchas favorite bands, and right now most of my shirts are proclaiming something. Makes it easier to meet people with similar interests.

Why is it when their name is spelled in such a way that they could make a big point of being called "Watch over ya", they actually call it "Wack over ya"?

I wore another beer-related t today - it advertsises Fosters' with a "Billaroo" whatever that is. I don't drink Fosters, I won this (with quite a lot of other stuff here and there) back when I lived in the New Forest and was in a pub quiz team.

And I bought a knockout "The Flash" t-shirt, which I'll be weearing tomorrow.

Because they used to finance the slave trade.

I'm not a customer of their bank, I just got a t-shirt, from one of those tables they set up on city streets every now and then. It was a hot day a number of years ago, The t-shirt I was wearing was unbearably soaked with perspiration and the table seemed to appear in my path like something out of an Arthurian legend; the beam of light shining down upon the T-shirt on the Table (as opposed to the Sword in the Stone).

I filled out an application for a credit card (which I never received) with false information (SS # was 123-45-6789, and the name I gave was Richard Milhouse Nixon, but they didn't bat an eye), and I walked away with a fresh t-shirt to get all sweaty.

Which I promptly improved upon returning home for fear the inspiration would leave me if I washed it first. Or that I would forget the improvement if I dallied on making it, and I would just end up giving the t-shirt away to the Salvation Army because it's a corporate goon t-shirt (not an independent business t-shirt, there is a huge difference in the hipster world).

But you're right, it should be pronounced "watch over ya". Would make a lot more sense, and help distance themselves from the whacking of people they did for so long before the present day.

I'm also rocking a black t-shirt today. It says "<<<<Pinback>>>>" in white letters at the top, and in white printing, shows an illustration of a fish diving deeper under water, with bubbles rising back to the surface. If you haven't heard of Pinback, here's three songs from three different albums. The descending order signifies which songs came later (so Fortress is most recent).

Pinback: Tripoli

Pinback: Penelope

Pinback: Fortress

Or if listening isn't your thing, read up on them at wikipedia:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pinback

They're a fun band, not earth shattering, but certainly talented. In fact, Rob Crow is the only rock singer I've seen sing with perfect pitch live (I'm sure there are others, I just haven't seen them).

Pinback is good relaxing music, and really great to put on in the background during a date, a suitable soundtrack with which to make your move.

Just a boring old v-neck Stafford brand white undershirt today (not spending much on undershirts allows one to spend more on the pieces of clothing others actually SEE).

Actually, does anyone else have this problem (which I am about to explain)? Maybe I just have highly acidic sweat, but the armpit parts of my t-shirts (especially undershirts) seem to wear out very quickly. Is this just a flaw of manufacturing? Planned obsolescence, perhaps? Or do I have the sweat gland equivalent of H.R. Geiger's Alien's blood?

This evening, post gym and shower, I have changed into one of the many, many t-shirts I have referencing/advertising my undergraduate Alma Mater.

I imagine these types of tees are common to all...
