Feminism:
1 : the theory of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes
2 : organized activity on behalf of women's rights and interests

I understand you were trying to make a joke/point, but all it appears to be is you attacking women's rights. Your stance on abortion does nothing to dissuade me/others of that view. What is your view on women's rights? Should they be subordinate to men? Should they "honor the husband" (in the archaic form of the term)?

the man and woman should have equal choice, but if the husband says one thing, and the woman says another, when it is about abortion, the woman should get to make the choice...and i don't joke about abortion...christianty yes, abortion no..

Yes, women should honor their husbands and likewise husbands honor their wives. Women's rights? Hello? Its 2006, women have the same rights as men.

How do you explain the difference between salary for women and men? Women on average make less to the dollar than men do.

What does THAT have to do with rights? There are plenty of women who make more than me...do you see me complaining????

I think you need to change your poll question options. A choice between pro-choice and pro-life isnt adequate. these two extreme sides are the reason why this issue has gone unresolved for so long! Christ its like the Israel/Palestinian conflict! Put it to a Damn Vote, and lets put this issue to bed already!

Well thats an equality issue not a "rights" issue. Women can do anything a man can do.... we have the same rights. Give me an example of something a man can do that a woman cannot. (because laws prevent it not nature)

Its not that hard to believe, if you work less you get paid less.
When you factor in these things, the difference between the pay of Men and Women in the same position is very close. Statistically equal actually.

The Feminist Orgs just keep spitting out the same old stats to justify their existence.

Don't you think its time this country put the abortion question to Bed?
take it out of the hands of extremist orgs (on both sides), and lets add some common sense to this.

I'm tired of political candidates pussy-footing delicately around the issue of abortion. Every time I turn on the TV, there's always some group of hippies protesting "for choice" or "for life." Each group pisses the other off, and no candidate will take a strong enough stance on the issue of abortion, so I've decided to form a political party of my own: The Regressive Party.

I have a different stance on abortion: I'm against abortion, but for killing babies. That way everyone loses, and I win. I'm neither pro choice, nor pro life; I'm pro you-shutting-the-hell-up. The only way I'd be "pro choice" is if it meant I could choose which babies I could abort, and only then if I could lift the age restriction to 80. I was at this mall the other day watching some shitty documentary when I came out of the theater and saw old people dancing to country music in the courtyard. I couldn't remember the last time I saw a group of people begging this hard to be aborted.

Kind of the extreme form of my opinion.

my opinion exactly.

If men and women are equal... why can't women be drafted?

As a rule most people don't want to be drafted. That is hardly a "rights" issue. If women want to be in the military they can enlist.

Women don't have equal rights, it was only in the past few years that courts stopped ruling in favor of the father for the majority of the time a divorce involved child custody and support. There are so many other nuances in law that aren't specifically written down but carried out. I can't believe I'm hearing this, equal hahahahahahahaha...

ok, how bout this...this girl spend twenty years trying to get her science research looked at, approved, get what she needed funded...almost no one would look at it, no one would fund it, and people laughed at her...she got a sex change, became a guy (and will now be a he) and started trying to get her research funded and approved...people would actually take the time to look at it, he got funding...and my personal favorite, after a lecture he gave, he heard someone say "wow, his work is way better then his sister's" when in fact, it was the same person, and the same work...he didn't have a sister...prove the point a little more?

Must have received gov't funding set aside for Freeks. cough,cough...I mean Transgenders. And the comment about "HER" Sister was obviously a JOKE! and the "girl" was too thick to realize it.

P.S. How do you actually get a sex change to become a Guy? I've heard of Guy-Girl changes but it would be awfully difficult the other way around! Someone must have Will'd her his C*ck.
